What I would probably pick most days: Solemn Simulacrum, because I am a sucker for staying open in the first pick.
What I want to pick: Doomsday, which needs no explanation.
What I would pick on a warm summers day like today: Eternal Witness, because I want to sit and watch the day go by. Also, it fits in a lot of decks and I am so into Collected Company these days. Surely one will come around. Right?

Yeah, Control Magic looks like the objectively strongest card on its own.

Isamaru has got to be a trap in a reject rare draft, right? I'll take the Infernal Spawn of Infernal Spawn of Evil and look for any bad reanimator cards I can pick up.

If it's actually a trap, I can audible into an actual archetype in this cube with the possibility of just getting 8-10 free damage. If it's not, then hell I DEFF wanna beat down rather than muck about with distant memories
