General Planeswalker Deck design challenge!

So... does anyone want to extend this concept in order to build a couple of balanced teaching decks?
I have been wanting to do so in order help people bridge the gap between 'I understand the basics of Magic' from Magic Duels, starter decks or the like to actually being able to draft something reasonable within the high-complexity environment which is my cube.

I built some 30-card teaching decks, but they are so horrifically ground-stally, while also being pretty unbalanced because I don't use them often.
How about that can be next week's design challenge?

Geomancer's Eruption - {1}{R}{R}
Sorcery - Rare
~ Deals 3 damage to each creature or each planeswalker.
Search your library and graveyard for a Koth planeswalker card and put it into your hand.

Echoes of the Hammer - {R}{R}
Enchantment - Uncommon
{1}{R}{R}: Target mountain you control becomes a 4/4 red elemental creature with haste until end of turn. It's still a land.
If you control a koth planeswalker, land creatures you control get +1/+1 and have trample.

Seismic Strike or Spitting Earth as common reprints, OR

Tectonic Shift - {R}{R}
Sorcery - Common
Choose one:
-Search your library for a mountain card, reveal it, then put it into your hand.
-Untap target mountain. Until end of turn, it becomes a 4/4 red elemental with haste. It's still a land.


This is fun! I went through like four different uncommons but without changing the rare away from slagstorm (A card I identify as Koth's) it was hard to make a creature that could live through it without having a paragraph of text. I made some mountains-matter cards, but decided they weren't really "kothy" enough so stuck with the 4/4 elemental theme. The enchantment's ability is probably a little too good when it lines up with multiple mountain animations, honestly. Echoes of the Kin Tree was one of my favorite cards from Dragons of Tarkir!
 
Consult the Demonwalker - {2}{B}{B}
Sorcery - Rare
As an additional cost to cast ~, sacrifice a creature.
Destroy up to one target creature.
Search your library and graveyard for a Nixilis planeswalker card, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Then shuffle your library.

Chattel of Nixilis - {1}{B}
Creature - Human Soldier - Uncommon
When ~ dies, you gain 2 life.
When a Nixilis Planeswalker card enters the battlefield under your control, if Servant of Nixilis is in your graveyard, you may return it to the battlefield tapped.

Pain Beyond Measure - {B}{B}
Instant - Common
Target creature gets -4/-1 until end of turn. If that creature is dealt damage this turn, destroy it.

Nixilis has a crazy backstory, but from the BFZ lore articles featuring him, he seems to still see himself as a conqueror-type. I like to think he built empire-like civilizations while conquering other planes, and that some idolize him as some kind of god or demigod. A plane (or more) he "owns," with some of its peoples wholly devoted to his existence. Seems demonic enough.

Search your library and graveyard for a Chandra planeswalker card, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Then shuffle your library.

Disciple of Nalaar - {R}{R}
Creature - Human Monk - Uncommon
First Strike, Prowess
If you control a Chandra planeswalker, ~ gains prowess. (Instances of prowess stack)

Reprint of any of the fire-based burn spells works here- incinerate, pillar of flame, flames of the firebrand/chandra's fury. Chandra only really does one thing so it's hard to come up with a new common card she would cast herself.

Burning Shield - {1}{R}
Enchantment - Aura - Common
Whenever enchanted creature blocks or becomes blocked by a creature, ~ deals 2 damage to that creature and enchanted creature.

I like Chandra well enough, even if she is a massive stereotype.

Search your library and graveyard for a Bolas planeswalker card and put it into your hand. Then shuffle your library.
Choose One:
- Gain control of target creature
- Destroy target noncreature permanent

Herald of Bolas- {U}{B}
Creature - Imp Wizard - Uncommon
Flying, Deathtouch
As long as you control a Bolas planeswalker, ~ is indestructible.

Countersquall, a version of Complete Disregard without Devoid, or similar reprints would work.

Utter Disdain- {U}{B}{R}
Instant - Common
Choose one:
- Counter Target Spell
- Target creature gets -3/-3 until end of turn
- Discard up to two cards, then draw a card for each card discarded this way.

"Big Splashy Planeswalkers" immediately got my attention from the announcement, because I'm the biggest Timmy I know. Bolas has been my favorite pw card since I learned of it, and only Ugin has come close.

Ok ok I'm done. There are probably a ton of formatting mistakes or I've misjudged some pricing in my posts but it's so fun to design with walkers in mind that I don't care!!
 
Domri's Raid - {R}{G}
Sorcery - Rare
Look at the top 6 cards of your library and reveal a creature card. If you do, it deals damage equal to its power to target creature or player. Put it into your hand.

Search your library for a Domri planeswalker card and put that card into your hand. Shuffle your library.

(I really want this to be an instant, but that seems potentially too strong.)

Raider's Cache - {2}{R/G}{R/G}
Artifact - Uncommon
{R/G}{R/G}, {T}: Proliferate.

At the beginning of your end step, put a +1/+1 counter on target creature that attacked this turn.

As long as you control a Domri planeswalker card, creatures you control have haste.

(A Fires of Yavimaya/Curse of Stalked Prey variant with the ever-desired Proliferate rider. Could this be better?)

Rubblebelt Burial Trial - {R}{G}
Instant - Common
Put a creature card from your graveyard on the top or bottom of your library. Draw a card.

(A Fossil Find/Vengeful Rebirth variant. It might be too strong for common, but I honestly only really put any thought into the first two card. It's based loosely around the Gruul clan trial by burial that awakened Domri's planeswalker spark.)
