Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

The ones with cycling {2} might work better for you. Tapped non-basic basics are a real cost in deckbuilding, and {2} cycling cost helps stop stacked discard turns.

It sounds extremely time-consuming. And fun the first time you try.

Most cycle effects draw a card. This one shuffles your library as well.

i did a mid power pile with a big historic theme for a while and it was ok there. but honestly it’s too much text for not enough payoff vs something like crawling barrens or mutavault

And another one if you'd be so kind

City of Traitors

I can't get myself to cut the card because it's one of my first alters. The artist is CardKitty whom I adored. Ignoring the alter part and focusing on the actual card text, would you ever run this card in a deck? What type of deck could you see yourself run a City of Traitors?

I love this thing as counterspell for more proactive blue decks, especially in a slower format where the must-counter stuff is more expensive (so that it doesn't hurt as much to play it as a Cancel). It brushes aside spell-based combat tricks, protects any threats you play in your second main, and cleanly answers anyone trying to do things on your end step.

The only cost? Aggression.
