Recur it, entomb an artifact, then use reanimate that artifact. I think it'd work pretty well if you had cool 2 or 3 drop artifact creatures to recur.

Gruesome Menagerie looks 1 mana too expensive for a deck interested in running enough 1-, 2-, and 3-drops to enable the card.

It looks like it would be pretty sweet with convoke, I don't know if that would send it too far the other way though.

I've had good success with many of the cards mentioned here. In particular this approach effectively turns black into another "blink" color:



Corpse Knight is the bridge between the two, and a WB deck with Reveillark + Blood Artist + Corpse Knight feels impossible to play into.

Good in vacuum, recurrable with Lurrus, a good late game Ranger-Captain of Eos target.
