    Nanonox's 1vs1 cube

Crop Rotation is not a bad choice if you can justify it on its own terms. I absolutely recommend both Dreadhorde Arcanist (fun, unique, great in both draft and play) and Reckless Charge (Not the most powerful card, but does not suffer from 24th card syndrome and is strong in the right places)

For me the problem is not the speed. 1 mana is the perfect cost for Stifle. I just don't want it to blow up lands for a mere 1 mana.

I would love a non-land Stifle. I love the card, it's a great, simple design that has a ton of gameplay value...but the fact that it acts as a 1-mana Strip Mine with fetchlands just ruins it for me. Were it not for that, I would cube it. Note that it wrecks Storm, though.

Yep. For me the biggest problem is that all those big RW cards just amounted to nothing. Like sure, you filled the graveyard, you generated recursive card advantage...and then...what? There was nothing that could really use it. You are probably right about STX/Midnight Hunt, by the way, given...

    Nanonox's 1vs1 cube

Personally: Grim Monolith Grim Monolith is great. It is a very powerful card, one of the best in my cube, but it has certain restrictions that make it good only in some decks. Notably, it only gives colorless mana so it has fewer uses and there are not a lot of big snowbally cards, like...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

Yep, highly recommended. I also feel the colour restriction isn't huge while, at the same time, preventing dumb splashes into other colours. My Boros section only has two real Boros cards: Phlage, Titan of Fire's Fury Showdown of the Scalds I've also slotted this guy in Boros for counting...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

I did! It's a great design, I only cut it because it wasn't an effect I sought. It's also great with Earthcraft, mana dorks or go-wide strategies in general. If you want a "white fireball" or "go wide X spell", I would give it a try.

    Shamim's Cube

I love Windbrisk Heights because you can use it, alongside Collector's Cage or other versatile cheat spells like Reanimate, to add a bit of spice to wide decks. Decks, particularly wide creature-based ones, tend to focus very heavily on cheap spells, heavily limiting how they can be built and...

    Nanonox's 1vs1 cube

Pernicious Deed will prove too mana intensive for Nanonox, I had to cut it for that reason. It's also narrow because it often destroys valuable cards on your side (Say, Crucible of Words, Sylvan Library, etc.) and exploiting it with higher mana values is now rarer. I much prefer Engineered...

Sets (FIN/FIC) Final Fantasy Testing and Includes thread!

I've been busy so not much testing or tweaking from me. But I do see a couple interesting cards here. Golbez, Crystal Collector A decent artifact payoff in Dimir! While the colour leans towards it, there are surprisingly few cards in either black or multicolour that fit the archetype. In my...

    Nanonox's 1vs1 cube

No, I think you are right. The key here is that Magic has evolved to the point that 3 mana creatures now cost 2. There used to be a ton of effects, most notably any snowballing or repeated advantage, that just weren't available at that cost. Now you have creatures that do, and while this is...

    General Land Storm

I've been trying Chatterstorm and Awaken the woods and there's little information about it, so perhaps I should talk a bit about my experiences. First, this is a fantastic piece for a plethora of decks. Naturally, it's great in combo decks by ramping you one turn before going off. But it's also...

    General Riptide's P1P1 Thread

Haha, don't worry! I was joking, not referering specially about your post! It's not a bad card, but it does have two big limits: You divide the pile and it rounds down. In practice, it's removal that does nothing against one creature and Diabolic Edict against two and three. It's only when you...
