    Out of those I only have experience with Kulrath Knight, which is really powerful in this deck. If your power level is low enough, it can be generically playable, but in most cubes it'll be narrow. I put it in Occasionals after a long, long time out of the cube.     Disallow counters the triggered abilities when a morph flips, like Skirk Marauder. Yeah, it can't counter the flip itself.

    Many of the cards you mentioned as worrying were chosen because they synergize with morph. This is already an environment in which morphs are good (at 2/2 for 2 they are actually strong), so you don't need to incentivize people to play them by putting in cards that work well with morphs...

    Izzet Chemister It's fun and flavorful. Gives reach to burn decks, can become a counterspell, card draw, but also requires investment of time, mana, and risk of getting your spells wiped out. The shields down/shields up dynamic works well in that you need to tap to grow, but also to activate.
