Thanks! I added it after the prerelease, but as I saw standard devolving into Elk and saw the role Once Upon a Time had, I foresaw it doing the same thing in my cube. I might test it again in the future, if green needs a straight buff.

Skirge is much, much better than Spined Thopter. I wish the Thopter was a bit better actually to be playable in my cube.

How does this deck work? What's the win condition? How does it protect itself? At what point does it go off?

This has been a really good card in elves for me: Hunting Triad Cross-synergy with counters, tokens, sacrifice, flash, and voltron.

Is Venser really fun? How is it not a meaner Mist Raven? I don't think I should run both Merfolk because they are so similar, it would be confusing.

Merfolk Trickster vs Harbinger of the Tides Both work well with flash, wizards, and tappers, which are decks I support. I like the short but deep text of Trickster, but I'm concerned it might be a rules nightmare.

Could be useful as a low power wrath-synergy card, like Selfless Spirit. 3/3 first strike for 4 is not bad either. But yeah, probably too narrow for a gold card.
