    FlowerSunRain's Cube

After some soulsearching, I'm pretty sure Sigil of the Empty Throne is bad and Celestial Ancient should have constellation.

    FlowerSunRain's Cube

I don't think so. The angel is nutterbutters, one of my players thinks she should get dropped on account of being insane, but she's the glue of lifegain-non-agrro and a card slower decks can go to to help not die so she's in for now. I'm considering Sigil of the Empty Throne, but Celestial...

Card/Deck Shit Thread: Planeswalker Tier List

Chandra Pyromaster is perfectly fine in an aggro deck. Repeatable falter that pings the opponent, kills x/1s and draws if you get wiped is worth 4. Its not the quintessential aggro card by any means, but it works at a different angle then the "billion damage hasty attackers" which is cool. If...

Card/Deck Shit Thread: Planeswalker Tier List

I've been seeing this sentiment. Is the general feeling? Maybe its because I don't run many 6+ drops, but she seems on par with the power level I want from a 6 drop and is more interesting then white's creature equivalents (Mostly Sun Titan), but she doesn't strike me as being...

    Sets [M15] Magic 2015 Spoilers

I agree. As a enchanment/aura/heroic/buildabaneslayer supporter, I find that there are a small army of awesome cards I can't include because "everything costs 4". Even if Brood Keeper is costed correctly, I probably can't give it a home because the four slot is holding up a lot of other things...

    General Making Aggro more inclusive

The first one is Sanguine Bond. How far can you push that effect before its broken? They put it on that Guildmage, but having to pay 3 to activate it makes it really bad. The second on is awesome and needs to be put on a card asap. The question is, which card? A 1/1 for 1 with that is...

    General Making Aggro more inclusive

Lucas: You should never, ever play my cube. It sounds like it would be your own personal MtG hell.

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

I never actually included Opalescence. I did run Humility and am considering putting it back in if I don't go with the Wave. The reasons I listed were not intended to be arguments for not including it (though they certainly could be used that way): I would literally run it without the loophole...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

Whether or not I like the loophole (and I'll be honest, I don't), its not intuitive. Needing to explain an interaction with the technicalities of a rule rather then simply the face value intention is inelegant. More simply, the people I play with don't care enough to study the rules...

Parallax Wave Let's pretend the perma-exile loophole doesn't exist. Is this card awesome?

That card would be sweet and if I ever drop the massive space vacuum that is the enchantment theme it would be an option.

Card/Deck Kill it with fire (let's talk removal)

What I'm saying is Diabolic Edict takes down a heroic creature quite nicely, is a more broadly applicable, doesn't suck against a Kird Ape deck and doesn't kick you in the junk for having the audacity to play the cards in the cube. It also gives you room to play around it. My comment wasn't...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

FWIW I run cube powerhouses like Mark of Fury and Give // Take and I've never had a problem feeling like I fit in. Maybe I have early adopter bias on my side. I mean, people don't necessarily agree with each others decisions, but the great thing here is that people are also willing to ignore...

General Decks that have 3-0'd your cube

Well, my cube runs over 100 non-god enchants, so Lyrist is a pretty solid pick. I'm considering shaving off the tap symbol like I did on Tragic Poet to make it more consistent with Ronom Unicorn. I think the Greaves were easily the worst card in the deck and he should have been playing whichever...

General Decks that have 3-0'd your cube

4 man 3-0 Deck was BUG Ramp. 2-1 (me) was RWB control, 1-2 was WG aura/human, 0-3 was RG beats. I don't remember the lands. This might no have been the exact main deck. He also had Young Wolf and Grim Affliction that saw play out of the sideboard or might have been maindeck in place of...

Card/Deck Kill it with fire (let's talk removal)

I don't make them pay four mana to kill a heroic creature. You should check my list. I'm questioning the inclusion of a card that specifically serves to punish a supported theme. Obviously if a removal spell costs four it should have upside. I prefer Damnation, Pestilence and Consuming Vapors...

Card/Deck Kill it with fire (let's talk removal)

As someone who pushes bestow/heroic, Silence the Believers is in that weird spot where you have to decide if it is a card that makes your cube better by offering counterplay or makes it worse by hosing a deck you want to be competiive
