Card/Deck Tezzeret (either one) and making them work in cube

I'm all about Pod tech. It's pretty much the only deck that I've truly enjoyed since Seismic Swans

Card/Deck Tezzeret (either one) and making them work in cube

I already have a como cube :p. My list is floating around somewhere in these threads. Given that I do already have that I was looking for ways to make either one of them work without the traditonal pile of mana rocks and still have them be a rewarding experience. I'm still okay with things like...

    CML's Cube (405, polychromatic)

Well I really like Standstill because it can go in a wide variety of decks. Land style control deck, blue aggro, or even just play it as a follow up to a planeswalker on an empty board. I think it'll be pretty easy for whoever gets it to make it work/draft around it, especially if you do utility...

Card/Deck Tezzeret (either one) and making them work in cube

Yeah I mean I've seen the Upheaval Wildfire strategies but I was looking for a more satisfying payoff/incentive to build around them and artifacts that you're happy to run/have in your deck that isn't just your standard artifact mana.

    Card/Deck Multipost

Makes adding in things like Exploration,Expedition Map, and Crop Rotation turn them into pretty powerful cards. Might be worried about the effects on aggro though. I won many pauper games with those lands because of how much work glimmer post does.

Card/Deck Tezzeret (either one) and making them work in cube

So I have a great love for both of these cards but am mostly stumped as to how to make them work in a cube environment outside of a dedicated artifact cube. Anybody have any success with either of these guys? What do you feel it takes to make them work/make people want to build around?

    Jason Waddell's Cube

Have you tried Farhaven Elf or Wood Elves to bolster your green 3 drops/go with the pod thing?

But Pristine Talisman + Drogskol Reaver is so much fun! Also do you run all same set basics with Symbol Status? If not I imagine that card is pretty nutty.

    Article ChannelFireball: Utility Land Draft

I'm mostly basing my experiences with Scrying Sheets off of my constructed play with it where all I was hitting was snow lands and it was definitely great. Soldevi Excavations I have in my combo cube which is my only experience with it where the scry is fantastic and there is 0 LD. That's why I...

    Article ChannelFireball: Utility Land Draft

I think Scrying Sheets is a pretty high upside for almost no real cost to your deck. 1x draw the top card of your deck if it's a basic land seems pretty solid. As far as the Excavations go it adds 1u if you tap it for mana so you don't really fall behind on mana. Definitely a bit of a risk but...

Yeah that's the plan. Their types are all just "Basic Snow Land-X." So it's essentially no different than those 25 of each basic or whatever you have sleeved up for your drafters, except you get access to a couple more, in my opinion, very good cards.

I think this is more or less the most amount of snow discussion possible haha. I think you underestimate the power of Scrying Sheets. This thing helps fight flood and provide gas. Being able to get a basic land off the top of your deck when you need action is huge. When this was in standard I...

    Ryan's Peasant Cube

Did a draft today at the LGS and lost to Centaur Glade. I blame you guys. I drafted the graveyard deck again just to get a feel for it and see how it plays out in a draft style and man it's still just phenomenal. I really love this archetype. I was BUG and I had 2 people to my right in green 1...

    Jonas 360 Cube

Maybe it's time to up some of the numbers of these lifegain cards? That was the problem with drafting Scars of Mirrodin. If there was only one person at the table drafting poison it was awesome but add in a second one and you have 2 people with really mediocre halfway decks.

    Article ChannelFireball: Utility Land Draft

See I actually changed Teetering Peaks to the Keldon Megaliths because it was just too often that you had to play it as just a mountain that came into play tapped because you didn't have a target and a lot of times even if it did have a target it was very easily blocked/traded with. Also why...

    Card/Deck Bonfire of the Damned

Nothing creates the feel bads quite like miracled Bonfire. Being on the receiving end of a miracled Bonfire makes me just want to stop playing the rest of that draft. I'm all for blowout plays but ones that require setting up/careful maneuvering. Not just "oops I guess all your things are dead"

    Article ChannelFireball: Utility Land Draft

Has anybody tried Keldon Megaliths as part of their utility land? I've got it in my peasant cube and so far I've been pretty happy with. Also when I do a draft that's less than 8 people we normally do 5 packs of 9 and I've been pretty pleased with that.

General Cube supplies (sleeves, storage etc.)

I use Ultra Pro Perfect Fits and Dragon Shields and I'm very happy with both. I can not express enough how much I like Ultra-Pro as a company. I got some mis-cut Perfect Fits, wrote to them about it, a week later a package shows up with 2 deck boxes, 4 packages of Perfect Fits, and 2oo sleeves.

    Ryan's Peasant Cube

Stitched Drake is a pretty nice one. I'll probably find room for that. I think I'm pretty set in the blue finishers department though. As far as Sprout Swarm I just added in a tokens theme to the cube so it's definitely staying as far as I can see. Still having troubles on what to cut from Black...

    Jonas 360 Cube

I think adding in the lifegain one drops turns Ranger of Eos into an even more powerful card. Can even go even deeper and add in Martyr of Sands I like the idea of the lifegain theme quite a bit
