Is Mishra's Workshop still too good if it's powering out a Smokestack,Lodestone Golem, or Mindslaver??

The best way to make your drafters want to play something is to do it yourself and beat them. Sometimes people just need to be shown how it works and how good it can be before they want to do it themselves.

One day I want to live the dream of Tooth and Nail into Prime Speaker Zegana and like Woodfall Primus.

Even as somebody who's been suggesting snow cards I don't think even I would play the Owl.

I feel like I'm in Harry Potter. The-Equipment-That-Must-Not-Be-Named. Lest Jason goes on a rant about. I do love the idea of Trading Post though.

Apparently Promise of Bunrei is in the Holiday Cube. This card feels like it has a looooot of potential.

It's definitely sweet with Loam just like Forbid. I do have a graveyard thing so that makes it seem even sweeter. I also have Punishing Fire with Grove of the Burnwillows in the utility land. It also doesn't seem too shabby as a just a reasonable blue beater. I also think I'm just a sucker for...

That's probably for the best. One time I was watching Cheon draft MODO cube and he had Fellwar Stone out planned this whole turn around going Armageddon Land Tax go. Cast the Geddon that takes like 5 minutes to figure out why he can't tap his Stone for mana.

I think it all depends on exactly you're planning to fit in the Post. Sometimes the post can be too much for aggro decks to handle.

I know man. I'm so bummed. Those books really really suck me in and engage me. Blood Meridian is awesome. I love Cormac McCarthy. Also to bring the music thread and the book thread together check out Ben Nichols-The Last Pale Light In The West. This entire album is based off of this book.

Just tell them it's basically black Journey to Nowhere. I can't count the number of times people have to read Necromancy though so I feel you.

I think the quality of that card entirely depends on your black section. Makes me want to run cards like Oubliette. I think it could potentially open doors into an Enchantment theme as well.

I'm a fan of it in control decks. It can pressure planeswalkers as well as protect your own. Seems relevant for Tezzerets. I do also like the mana rocks you've listed

I think your best bet is probably Volt Charge in aggressive decks with things like Rakdos Cackler,Exava, Rakdos Blood Witch, and Shrine of Burning Rage. Could make for a nice subtheme.

Despite having this in a couple of my cubes I always seem to forget about it. This is the kind of mana rock I can get behind
