    Card/Deck Counterspells

I have Muddle the Mixture in my Combo Cube and it is a true delight. I'm not certain if it makes the cut in a normal cube though. I guess it just depends on how spell heavy your cube is and how many good things you can transmute for but when it's good it's very good.

Card/Deck Tezzeret (either one) and making them work in cube

I think you make this archetype work without the usual and obvious signets and rocks. There's a lot of very good artifacts at your disposal. Fastbond Exploration. Boom next question. In all seriousness though it's probably not very great outside of my combo cube. I think Scroll Rack gets pretty...

I always loved the shit out of this band. Something a little more soulful I have a wide range as the kids say.

Card/Deck Tezzeret (either one) and making them work in cube

I'm just gonna list reasonable cards from my various list since I'm trying to make this work in my cube I'm building from the ground up: Baleful Strix Shardless Agent Tidehollow Sculler Etherium-Horn Sorcerer Porcelain Legionnaire Phyrexian metamorph Epochrasite Perilous Myr Phyrexian Revoker...

I played that card back when you could play Hypergenesis in extended. It was a solid man.

    General Designing Split Cards

That's the challenge isn't it? Honestly though I don't think you'd have to be a designer to enjoy a cube like this and the potential it brings. I don't feel that the interactions and cards would be so obscure it would have people constantly scratching their heads trying to figure things out. I...

    General Designing Split Cards

Those are some really nice ones Dom! I got some more flashes of inspiration from your post. Sakura-Tribe Elder//Roar of the Wurm (maybe too strong) Yavimaya Elder//Reach of Branches (fuels itself!) Shrieking Drake//Brain Freeze (also maybe too good. could probably attach it to a different storm...

    CML's Cube (405, polychromatic)

I've recently been doing a lot of graveyard/dredge interaction in my peasant cube and my cube I'm working on designing from the ground up and all I can say is it's been a huge success and incredibly fun. I would highly recommend it and if you want suggestions or someone to bounce ideas off of I...

    General Designing Split Cards

So I know that there's a split card cube floating around out there, meaning that every card that's in it is a split card made up from already existing MTG cards. I would love to make my own but I really want the split cards to be designed well. I think the rule of a split between permanent/spell...

Borborygmos Enraged is a fatty I'm rather fond of. Side note Borborygmos is actually a medical term referring to noises made by your intestines due to something or the other. Also if you throw in Obzedat's Aid you can do cool stuff like reanimate planeswalkers. I prefer Ashen Rider just...

I actually really really like this card. People always seem to look at it as a board sweep but I think it's great as a singular removal spell

Card/Deck Tezzeret (either one) and making them work in cube

You have to keep in mind the reason that it's so good there though. Context I think matters quite a bit for that one.
