    Card/Deck Prowess in Cube

"spells matter" generally, and prowess specifically are definitely part of my list and it plays at a great level for me. Not having "best-of" cube helps a little there. I'd definitely recommend using token spells as ways keep spell count high while effecting the board. This is the same reasoning...

General Decks that have 3-0'd your cube

Did an 8-seat draft and we did round robin. Here's mine; a great example of a focused 2-color deck that's trying to end the game on my terms. Twos 1 Young Pyromancer 1 Sunhome Guildmage 1 Intangible Virtue 1 Raise the Alarm 1 Burning Oil 1 Lightning Helix 1 Boros Charm Threes 1 Goblin...

    Charm Cube (Shards/Wedges)

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Pqgq088XM72VBW-wt7Qxqi_WRWP0h_q_YIgAoaUw7Vk Here's the cards and changes I'm testimg this Tuesday. About 20 cards in all edit: that's what we tested with, but there were two immediate changes following the draft, due to misreading them and they're...

General Decks that have 3-0'd your cube

now that I know there's a better experience with the cubedeck tag I'll do that. Also, I updated the last post to use it. I was apparently thinking of cubetutor's draft deck widget that DOES have a mouseover. Oh well.

General Decks that have 3-0'd your cube

combination of: - people seem to do photos, so I figured I'd join in - the fact that the cubedecks don't seem to mouseover to show the whole picture of a card anymore? (is it working for everyone else?)

only stayed for a match so not a full writeup, but here's some fun ones from a 6-seat draft: http://riptidelab.com/forum/threads/decks-that-have-3-0d-your-cube.47/page-35#post-28478

General Decks that have 3-0'd your cube

we drafted with six but since it at the end of a board game night, not everyone could stay so the numbers were a little weird. Here's two great ones: 3-0 - mardu with a combo finish (had only 4 land fixers, but didn't punish him); The combo is Maw of the Obzedat or goblin bombardment with...

General Decks that have 3-0'd your cube

That's a pretty good analogy. This is definitely a "limited feel" list so I'm not going for a flat power level. Since it's pushing 3 colors, the power balance is swung hard in favor of 2 and 3 color cards. Alseid is a good example that gets played a lot but is a grade C roleplayer.

    Charm Cube (Shards/Wedges)

    Our 3rd 8-seat draft: (in first pack, 1 passes to 2) 1) {R}{G}{B} splash siege rhino (me) 2) {W}{B} splash {U} control: took {W}{B} removal very heavily including magister of worth; this was the big winner 3) {R}{G}{B} 4) {W}{G}{U} 5) {W}{G}{B} heavy counters 6) {G}{R} 7) {R}{U}{G} splash...

    Charm Cube (Shards/Wedges)

Did a 4-person draft and didn't appreciate how harder it was to pull synergies together with that many less packs to see. (first pack, 1 passes to 2) 1) {W}{U}{G} - me (opened Twilight Drover / Curse of Predation but couldn't make heavy tokens work); kind of a pile 2) {W}{R}{B} - a lot of sac...

    Charm Cube (Shards/Wedges)

new session with 8 drafters (a few folks drafted but didn't play it out because there were other games and we got a late start) seat order (1 passing to 2 on packs 1 and 3) 1) {W}{U}{B} - (me) brago / blink 2) {G}{W} - tokens 3) {R}{W}{B} - butcher of the horde and sac outlets 4) {W}{G}{B} -...

    Charm Cube (Shards/Wedges)

Alright, finished prepping for my second 6+ person cube night. I've turned over about ~20-25 cards that roughly break down as follows: - cut some uninteractive artifact/enchantments because I don't intend to include enough removal to balance, though this could change if enough synergistic...

    Charm Cube (Shards/Wedges)

I've actually never seen it used for the anti-graveyard consideration :x. The niche it's in is for the self-mill deck to put back the payback cards like Laboratory Maniac and Spider Spawning. I'll note that I've played it in a Sidisi deck with maniac, but I sided it out when I realized how...

    Charm Cube (Shards/Wedges)

I've actually been really happy at the deck quality over the drafts I've done so far, so I don't think I'm looking to change the mechanics there. Also worth clarifying that this cube is not doing a land draft and that's one of the contributing factors to the slower speed of the format. Both...

    Charm Cube (Shards/Wedges)

A really good point that it's worth reminding me of. The morphs are the least interesting part of the list, but from the beginning I've assumed it was a necessary part of holding it all together. I want to get a few bits of additional data, and there are some cards that'd help morphs along...

    Charm Cube (Shards/Wedges)

travel preparations is already in. I hadn't considered sunblade elf, which is a neat one. I wasn't starting the liege due to multiple color considerations (if it was {2}{G/W}{G/W} I may have started it). And I basically chose jade mage over selesnya guildmage but it's something to consider...

    Charm Cube (Shards/Wedges)

I really like the Juniper Order Ranger and Bronzebeak Moa suggestions. I had been thinking about Wayfaring Temple but I could see any of them in that slot. Thanks :)

    Charm Cube (Shards/Wedges)

    Trip report with 8 drafters, and it's the first real games we've gotten. in seat order - {R}{U}{B} @ 2-2: Me with Grixis graveyard combos - {W}{G}{B} @ ?-? (middling): stuff, heavier on +1/+1 counters - {W}{G}{B} @ 4-1: tokens - {G}{R}{B} @ 1-1: Aggro with a lot of threaten effects - {B}{U}{G}...
