    CML's Cube (405, polychromatic)

http://www.cubetutor.com/cubedeck/220087 P1P3 Academy after seeing P1P2 Bargain, and since I was playing standard during that time, I went for it. I was really, really sweating getting the lifegain, but pack 3 turned out fine. If canal dredger turns up a lot more random aggressive creatures I...

    CML's Cube (405, polychromatic)

did a test draft on cubetutor this morning, and unfortunately the draft-matters cards being in, but not really functional made it hard for me to get a real sense. I'll take a look again this evening. I will say that this list was one of the inspirations for the heavy-gold feel of charm cube...

    Charm Cube (Shards/Wedges)

In a bit of cool news, Charm Cube is the current cubetutor.com featured cube :). I submitted it via their form and it was accepted, so I hope some folks have some fun with it. Since Sunday there's been a bunch of drafts, and there is one thing that's a little annoying on cubetutor: the bots...

    Charm Cube (Shards/Wedges)

Yep, that's exactly it, and I've edited me last post since I forgot a few words in there. I'm happy with that kind of setup. I don't like it when draft lands every time and scoop up bombs pick 13 is actually the best thing to be doing, because it feels like taking advantage of newer drafters...

    Shotgun Lotus Formats

unfortunately, they haven't edited down 8 and the champs yet, according to their facebook group. An unfortunate victim of the twitch vod change https://www.facebook.com/groups/VintRotisserie/

    Shotgun Lotus Formats

The OP nails a lot of where I was out in watching magic coverage, and highly recommend it for anyone with even a passing interest in anything. I started with VRD7 and went back to 5 and also watched all the new ones since then. Have also stayed current with VSL

    Charm Cube (Shards/Wedges)

have ~8 practice drafts after the tri-land change, and at first I wasn't super happy with it. It seemed like I didn't have to prioritize fixing, I made the landcycling part a little less important, and now it really seemed possible to try going five-color stuff. But now, I really like we ended...

    Charm Cube (Shards/Wedges)

10 tri-lands swapped in. Here's the first draft I did afterwards. There were a LOT of tri-lands running around. www.cubetutor.com/cubedeck/208898[/url]"] Twos 1 Blood Artist 1 Dragon Fodder 1 Goblin Bombardment 1 Krenko's Command 1 Spawning Pit 1 Sunhome Guildmage Threes 1 Attended Knight 1...

    Charm Cube (Shards/Wedges)

I saw this last night, and was originally going to approach this as quibbling over details: - one thing to consider is that there are also 15 landcyclers which pushes it up to ~15.7% non-elf "fixing" - this means that there will be 7-8 pieces of fixing opened in each seat, or 25 sources total in...

    Charm Cube (Shards/Wedges)

It was a conscious decision in favor of the landcyclers, primarily because it was slower. For some background, my main list was a tight 360 with 2x fetches and it definitely allowed people to hit their colors on turns 1 and 2, but that's a much faster speed than khans and I didn't feel like it...

    Charm Cube (Shards/Wedges)

For everyone who saves a deck on CT, I've gone though and commented on all over them. I'll continue when new ones show up, for at least a while

    Charm Cube (Shards/Wedges)

Where I end up starting is drafting the first two typed dual lands I see (typically by p1p8), then building whatever good in those colors. This has the nice side effect of giving me the most chances to find relevant land cycling. I am hoping that's not the only way to draft this list though...

    Charm Cube (Shards/Wedges)

that's certainly a risk area, and this is the first project I've gone in on that's not targeting a flat power level across cards so I don't have a feel from the draft what's the right balance. Basically, KTK is a great draft set so far, and there's a huge difference in expected outcomes in...

    Charm Cube (Shards/Wedges)

wow, super grateful for everyone taking the time to draft and have such positive things to say :) you built this a lot more defensively* than I might have expected, and curious how it'd play out. You mention missing 1 more piece of fixing, so I could see how going shields up gives you time to...

    Charm Cube (Shards/Wedges)

Thanks so much for taking the time to draft, when I saw it on CT, I thought it was a really cool take. You're definitely right there are not a lot of 1 drops at all, and not as many 2 drops as a typical cube I'd build, this was a KTK influence, where a legit T1 play was laying tapland. I knew...

How You Can Help Do some test drafts (here's a link, which is also in my signature, make sure to login and save your drafts so I can see them) Opinions? If you build something similar and have any play/draft reports, I'd love to hear them. I'm not going to get more than a few reps a month...

    Charm Cube (Shards/Wedges)

Wedges/Shards I built in some synergies to each shard/wedge, as a way to reward people drafting a deck instead of a bunch of cards. This has the nice side effect of presenting choices between a generically good card like Siege Rhino and an engine card like Abzan Ascendancy where the right pick...

    Charm Cube (Shards/Wedges)

How This Started It started with this tweet: I also thought it was sad, and I was looking for a new project, so I started brainstorming some ideas. I talked this idea over with a few folks, and "in demand" has been heard as anything from p1p1-windmill to "not sideboarded" so I've refined...

    General Multi-Colour\Gold Cubes

Couple of weeks ago, I came up with a design goal of: "what kind of format would it take to make 10 shard/wedge charms in demand." I assumed I wasn't the only one thinking that, but I'm pretty excited. Now that KTK is on cubetutor, I have the first draft's first test draft...

    Article M15 Set Review

I'm running extra young pyros and am about 55% spells in red including a fair amount of instants. I'm going to test Altac Bloodseeker and am hoping to either force blocks and them explode them with the first strike, or get extra value if unblocked.
