    Card/Deck Earthcraft/Cryptolith Rite Archetype

Please feel free to try it out with my cube if you want. I have a lot of the pieces being talked about here, some other counter support, and I've (temporarily) made some additional swaps to include more of the pieces discussed above. Mostly GW that is supported still.

I feel like it isn't, because I'm critiquing a painting. The lady in the art doesn't have any say on if she actually likes wearing makeup. It's not a real person that has agency in that decision, it's an artist's decision with paint on a canvas. If I was judging a photograph of a person wearing...

    Card/Deck Earthcraft/Cryptolith Rite Archetype

Is that you volunteering? ;) This is mostly a deck I already support in my format in various forms, so I'm guessing it's viable at the very least. Can't put an example deck together rn, but it isn't a bad ideato make a couple.

    "Fast" multiplayer cube

There is Dread Wanderer, which is decent, but does still block "slowly". Agree that in general this is a big hole in WotC's offerings. I guess they are afraid of recursive blocking, but why tho. There is dread presence in black as a "landfall" payoff. Doesn't tie into aristocrats sadly, but it...

Deck does flex pretty well into Naya as Brad mentioned: dismissive pyromancer stormblood berserker pia and kiran nalaar radha, heart of keld swiftblade vindicator winota, joiner of forces phylath, world sculptor devil's play stoke the flames P&K offer some (flying!) tokens to slap +1 counters...

The ol' KRM deck. You can certainly pursue token strategies if you want, but I've personally found most token strategies to bring more negatives than positives to the average environment, largely due to hard to avoid board clogging issues. Some ways around those issues that I've used with mixed...

If your cube is an art history museum, go off. Otherwise, I see no problem in leaving this "era" of MTG fantasy art in the past.

I think token spam in general leads to somewhat uninteresting games... Angel of Invention is probably a bit more interesting because it generates artifacts, pumps the whole team, and flies. The last two means it helps actually close out the game a bit faster than Captain IMO (less board...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

I think it has a lot of potential at most power levels high to medium-low, especially if the graveyard is even moderately important to a format. The format should have a UW tempo deck before consideration on inclusion, though. It doesn't really fit well into control, especially since it turns...

I couldn't find the right term in the criteria list for that frame, but you can still search for it. That is found with "frame:inverted". If you want the planeswalker watermark specifically you can add "wm: planeswalker" FYI, if you want to know the specific details of a card, you can click...

The "criteria" box in the advanced search has some frames listed out. For example "New" is the M2015 frame, "Old" is the original 1993 frame, etc. You'll hve to dig around a bit to see if what you want is in the list.

    General Dual Faced Cards

valakut awakening and kazandu mammoth have been serving very well for me. The mammoth hits like a (fair) freight train, and the awakening is one of the better of the dump-hand sort of effects because it draws an extra to replace itself. Disturb as a mechanic is a promising one for me, as it has...

General Favorite Cards You Don't Run

Can't you just make the "back half" a pay a cost and exile this effect? Not to take away the rules artistry going on with this custom already lol. Like this: geistblast Seems like it would take about the same rules text as the current front side (a tad more) once you take away the disturb...

Sets (MID) Innistrad: Midnight Hunt Testing/Includes Thread

I do feel like they could've left it at just the "hexproof from color" bit and that ability would've still been plenty strong without nearly the same muckiness.

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

Lithoform Engine can do some cool stuff, like copy fetchland triggers; and the copy permanent mode can keep the pressure on later game, letting every creature cast be 2x that creature. Mirari conjecture just really does so much. Good card.
