but not entirely sure what I want to swap in. I think I'm looking for a piece that can support my UWx tempo style decks; I think my blue and other colors already offer plentiful spell recursion as-is. Pretty sure I want it to be a non creature spell of...
These articles usually cover brand new mechanics. Party wouldn't be brand new, among a wide variety of on-flavor mechanics they can pull from. I wouldn't be worried yet.
You mean the mechanic "party" from that recent Zendikar set, or more of the party from this lore? Also, haven't we only seen like 15 cards so far? I wouldn't call anything missed yet.
What in gosh darn flippin tarnation is this mechanic....... It's cool, but man does it add complexity to individual cards. I guess it makes a venture creature have this cool cascade of various triggers, so Nadaar does [insert dungeon thing] on ETB or attack, instead of the same thing each time...
Vile Entomber is looking a lot better in draft testing than the credit he's getting here. It has deathtouch, which is aa awesome ability for a value reanimator/recursion deck that is more about grinding than just comboing off ASAP. Getting a card into the grave by turn 4+ is definitely not a...
I do not really know any of the lore lmao. I've only played custom campaigns that didn't touch on canon lore at all, besides whatever comes out of monster descriptions etc.
Pretty unobtrusive overall; I just have to remember to whitelist CC on ad nauseum on my home computer now.
Website hosting costs are  if $707 a month +other inputs isn't covering it, yeesh. I have absolutely no context for knowing one way or the other.
The fact that Galepowder has to attack to start benefiting can start becoming a lot more of a liability the higher in power you go. In your cube it might work out alright, especially considering that you do have a bit of a down-toned removal suite (no Swords to Plowshares, limited numbers of...
Mindslaver can be pretty damn BS too. I've seen tasteful executions of the charm effect in RPGs (looking at you Divinity), I've seen cool and interesting uses of Mindslaver that brought back a player from the brink or set up a cool closeout to a game. And I've seen bad executions of charm in...
Squee doesnt cost life, so for utilization as a discard combo, squee is loads better. Master is currently the only one I run because it does work as a self contained engine, but for cubes that want the discard combo, both.
Plenty of people hate Mindslaver... Nothing worse than losing because your own spells were used against you. Especially if it's recurred, but even if played once. And I would guess that recurring it is easier in this cube than in some others.
It an effect that has seen plenty of action in...
Big difference is the berserk actually kills the opponent, whereas it's likely the opponent gets to wait for 10 more minutes with something like Forbid or Mindslaver until they finally get put out of their misery.
Designed to look like the cover of a module book, and I think it succeeds a little too well lol. Very busy design, art does not look like a land.
The "For characters level 17-20" is just a callback to the books noting what levels the module was designed for in a campaign.
