I provide cycling lands in the BLB. Mono-color cyclers can be hard to justify while drafting.
An "effortless" manabase, as others have called it here, also reduces the potential impact of secondary fixing tools, namely treasure/gold tokens and 1 cmc Baubles like chromatic star. Obviously this...
Sounds a bit like the deck your opponent was playing wasn't really designed to have a wayfinder in it. Regardless, if the feel bads are an issue, Branchwalker definitely avoids some of that by being more like a scry effect.
I mostly agree with your sentiments regarding Time Warp (not really impactufl enough to want to run, and pretty low agency). The extra turn effects I've found to be impactful are the ones that shuffle themselves in, giving a drafter a neat "Lab Maniac" style infinite combo. I'm currently on...

If you are looking for diversity, Fain seems like an awesome toolbox for a variety of strats.
Master of Death is fun new recursive sac fodder

Sacrifice is a theme, in RB primarily, as an aggressive strategy. There is a loose counters "theme" in GW, and a equipment/power buffing matter theme centered in RW.
I would guess 3 each? One deck is probably not taking more than one of any particular "guild" and I doubt more than 3 decks will be trying to grab from the exact same "guild" in any one draft. It would depend a bit on format speed; including them would get slightly more attractive to decks the...
I run the cycling lands that custom is based on alongside my basic lands. Has worked well for years.
A land I'm tempted to try in the BLB is shimmering grotto. It would potentially act as a safety valve for a drafter that missed out on a couple key pieces of fixing while still offering some...
Adventure showcases are not a good example IMO, because as functional as adventures are, the graphic layout of the cards is very... busy... to say the least. The showcases just make it even busier.
This topic is obviously subjective by it's very nature. I like clean and functional most of the...
Forgot it existed lol. Cute with the new Master of Death and some discard. Haven't tested it yet (obvs), so it might be that the investment can be a little too much for what can be a rather inconsistent effect.
I would personally think that the Unwilling Ingredient would fit into a wider set of decks if it works in the overall power level of your cube. Nested Shambler isn't that exciting of a floor if the power matters themes aren't primary in {B}
Thanks for the info! The usability percentage definitely seems like a big issue. Usability of lands should directly tie into the color spread of drafted cards; the "deck" the bot is working towards.
It's interesting that it seems to assign identical weights to lands as it does artifacts. I...
Bummer. Did she mention anything about fixing it? Because though she say it takes color identity into account, I see mono red bots with watery grave and similar.
I'm no coding expert by any stretch of the imagination, but it seems like these bots are too focused on drafting per what numerically...
