I really like the idea of Arrival as a strong theme for red white that is a little comboy and techy for the aggressive player in the go-wide plan. Have you had any success drafting this deck? Have your players managed to go 2-1 or better with one of them?

Might be the pauper player in me but I like guardians of the guildpact. Depending on the removal suite it should stick pretty hard. Repeal also feels like a good pick to just see where things are going, easy to splash.

I'm biased since I read Onderzeeboots post before looking at the pack but I agree, that does seem like a very good start. With the same reasoning I think it could be possible to pick up Hero of Oxid Ridge if you knew you'd be able to draft a RDW deck.

What's the number of artifacts you'd need in a cube to regularly hit with this? And is there enough incentive to be green and into artifacts, thematically?

I would consider the cube "medium power" in that I'm trying to tone it down somewhat, but not all the way down to low power. The title is a bit misleading in that way! I'm quite happy with the power level across the cards.

Purphoros I think plays like a sort of combo enchantment, he hasn't really been in any other deck but this token one, where the likelihood of him getting devotion is pretty low. The 2 dmg per etb is a lot though, so in the token deck he enables some reach when token makers have been outmatched...

It's an interesting way of giving you something back for mana-flooding, since exces lands help you ascend.

To me it would require every deck to have access to either discard or very very cheap unconditional removal. Not made for every format.
