    General Basic Lands

If I could do it all again, I'd probably go for the gorgeous Rebecca Guay basics from C16.

    General The Izzet League (UR)

TBH, I'm still selling myself on it, too. A three mana artifact Murder of Crows/Ashes of the Abhorrent mash-up that only affects you still seems pretty strong. It seems better suited in slower midrange-y decks that will be running out board states and interacting with them throughout the game...

Easter egg on Gatherer for Gate to the Afterlife made me smile I've considered this card several times simply on the merit of the first ability, which seems solid.

    General The Izzet League (UR)

I definitely keep the strongest of the classic "spells" creatures in (Pyromancer, Mentor, Delver), but I'm having more luck the same way as stated above: more of a control/combo archetype. Pyromancer/Mentor etc. have had more success for me in a tokens-aggro style of deck, using other R and W...

    General Unstable Spoiler Unthread

That's good to know! That's a really strong effect, a better Reality Shift basically. All four modes of that middle Cryptic are really great. Giving blue a "destroy" effect is sweet, built into an already flexible card. All the versions feel slightly high or low on the power band. If I were to...

Also "destroy target flip walker". I do winder, what does happen to a nontoken creature that's turned over? The card doesn't specify anything about granting power/toughness...

Wow That middle one is insane, and there's at least one more different one than these Ive seen. EDIT, at least one more:

    General Basic Lands

I've been using a diverse selection of full art basics, that'll include the unstable lands. I just really like how clean and simple full art basics look, and they are easy to pull out of decks after drafting. I do have one signed Odyssey foil, because that foiling is gorgeous, and I love...

Me gusta. I'm wondering, what motivated you to finally decide on Seasons Past as "big noncreature green spell"?

    Card/Deck The Selesnya Conclave (GW)

Qasali Pridemage I feel like this card is basically a straight improvement over Watchwolf, and provides a really important utility effect

    General Custom Cards: The Lab

Ooo, ooo, I've got this hot off the press article! It's a great read, that I have to assume you haven't undertaken based on the above posts. Here's the link again just in case: https://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/archive/latest-developments/magnificence-kicker-2007-06-15 Wizards uses subset...

    General Custom Cards: The Lab

Multikicker might work here, but the mechanic is still a heinous misuse of design space because it's so broad. Swarm is more flavorful, and also happens on cast for some fringe benefits.

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

It sees at least minor play in every competitive format it's legal in, as far as I know, and virtually every casual format besides. The card is very flexible, provides useful utility and finisher effects to colors that can really use it, and is just an all-around nice design.

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

Hangarback is likely replaceably obnoxious. Something like Epochrasite could be run in its place and be overall more interactive and interesting. Walking ballista I third as "super solid"

Rasmus builds a medium power cube

I do think this is a really great execution of this deck. Really happy to see it. FWIW, I think Vortex would have been fine in this deck, you IMO do have a decent number of land-get effects. Deck looks great without it though. One thing that I do notice looking at your burn section: your burn...

Rasmus builds a medium power cube

Borborygmos feels like a classic control wincon here, in that playing it once stabilized should end the game extremely quickly. It doesn't seem to fit in the same slot as Vortex or Assault generally do, which actually control the board throughout the game. Stormbind is performing this duty well...

    General Fight Club

Blasphemous Act and Star both just seem... ridiculous to me. Hitting planeswalkers is nice, which is why I like hour of devastation

    General "Looking for a card"-Thread

I'd say my go-to answer stands here: what does the deck want? For this particular application, I think the Confluence wins. Seasons Past has a lot more impact for me in a GB or UG long-game deck that is using lots of spells for recursion. Also the dark petition "combo". The RG deck you are...

    General CBS

regarding that list, running basically none of those except Bloodwater, which I like very much. Jhessian Thief I have run and is very serviceable, Stormchaser is boring for a multicolor slot. Shu Yun I have also run and liked, and is a great anchor if you really want to push that theme...
