    Sets Amonkhet (AKH) Spoilers

Flavorfully, exert does not work for thus type of spell. You can't "exert someone", exertion is something you do to yourself. It reads well in the contextra of a creature "trying extra hard" not "lol I'll lose you in a 3D maze" Behind that, the keyword is doesn't untap on your next untap step...

    Sets Amonkhet (AKH) Spoilers

Serpopard is a real life term for an ancient Egyptian mythological beast. Considering this is a top down set, I guess I'm actually not surprised to see them. Still love it. Serpopard. Lol. Looks like a cute, scaly ermine

    Sets Amonkhet (AKH) Spoilers

I think I like this zombie better. The Unearth is nice on the rat, but it's a pretty incidental effect, and won't contribute a useful amount of damage. The sericeable body and the cleaner rules text wins it for me.

    Sets Amonkhet (AKH) Spoilers

I like all of those cards! I appreciate a card with cycling that is actually efficiently costed lol. And the fact that the arch fiend synergizes with discard as well really is a cherry on top. You can like, collective brutality fully escalated, and kill their beefcake with the -2/-2 helping. And...

    Nanonox's cube - 450 multiplayer

Company and Pod are both moderately exciting cards, but nothing particularly special as singleton. If you want to really focus on a particular effect like Company's, I'd recommend doubling on it. I'm just stuck in the past regarding singleton for the whole cube... I can actually see myself...

    Nanonox's cube - 450 multiplayer

Of all of the cards, I'd first look into cutting the Restoration Angel, the doubles of Snapcaster Mage and Vendilion Clique, the Attrition and could see Ophiomancer, and the Survival of the Fittest. The double blue cards especially seem very generically capable of simply making the color blue...

    Card/Deck Dusk / Dawn

I would. That late game boost is so good for a color that has a hard time finding ways to reach. I also don't run anthems, my W aggro decks use Rally the Peasants. I see this being even better for Wx "tempo" decks. UW blink has a smorgasbord of 2 and 1 (and 0) power creatures it's looking to...

    Card/Deck Dusk / Dawn

I love this card also. Have a resurrection I will gladly swap out for this. I think the real kicker for me is that it's got the more powerful "creatures with power 2 or less". Great in {B}{W} where it can restart a grind-fest from the ground up.

    Sets Modern Masters 2017 (MMA3?)

Opened a box with two others. Must say, this set is a ludicrously fun Pack Wars set. Had one bout where the rare was Past in Flames, and I used both casts of it to flashback two spells. Very fun.

    General CBS

Yeah, like, how long can one stay excited about an evolving wilds variant? I threw it in main board right away and have been happy since. Think it might be a touch strong to include as a freebie. I'd be tempted to pick those up just for the Barrens even if I don't run them.

    General The Draft Exchange

Drafted the riptidian cube! Had a heck of a time getting revved up. First picked Seasons Past cause it's a sweet card, then picked up Monastery Mentor. Spent the first pack exploring GW, kinda maybe naya. Messy. Pack 2, Grim Flayer says hi, and I guess now I'm GB. Turns out it was a good idea...

    Shamim's Cube

Completely forgot about those! That reanimation suite does seem nice. My power level might be just lower enough that the 'fair' side of dread return is at least palatable as is, which may help make the difference. Dunno. Know it pairs super hard with Sidisi.

    Shamim's Cube

"plsgodwork" I whisper as I pick a Canopy vista to add to my Jeskai deck. Counterspell weeps. Trinket Mage for one target is real style. I could see flushing out the options there a little. I think at least two decks in this draft would love a Dread Return. Card is sweet. These decks look...

    General CBS

Haven't played this cube, but it does have some... quirks, even when you just give it a cursory glance. My very first pass through green and it felt super one dimensional, but wasn't quite sure why... turns out its 37.5% ramp spells! That's a lot. 10-20% more than RTL levels based on some casual...

    General Drafting with 4 players

Less supported archetypes might have a slightly harder time sticking if multiple pieces show up in one pack. Same way with ten card packs, but the chance of that is slightly higher with 12 card packs than with 10. It'd probably work fine though, any particular reason for this method over the 400...
