A fine question, a fine question indeed. I'm tempted.

Isn't this the monocolor grisly salvage we've been looking for? And forget Corpse Churn, right now I'm torn over pulse of murasa v. They've both got upsides, and I am very torn

Probably not, but now I have a nicely redundant effect that is more flexible than either, and I don't need to devote two more slots to, say, vapor snag and memory lapse to get that redundany, I've got it in one.

Thing is, it's both in one. Two for one deals always increase the value of a thing. It may not do any one thing particularly "well", but it can do multiple things. This particular combination also keeps the spell relevant throughout the game: Remand effect early, unsummon later. Generally...

see, that was exactly where I went with the Train of Thought, and am very glad that you went there also.... Thing about making it a hybrid is now you open up another removal aura for {W}, which makes me want to tone down the number of those I have available. The least elegant one I have is...

Not odyssey block.... but here goes So I'm looking for a potential replacement for claustrophobia. I like claustrophobia and it's ilk because it really gives blue a hard removal spell. But it's maybe a little bad? So I've thought about bringing the effect to 2 mana. That leaves me with...

A... 2/1 for 1... in green... with no drawbacks, but an upside? Nice. Think I still prefer the dryad, but this is a cool take on transformation.

RE: "fits the bill": Probably refers to a bill of sale, ie. this bicycle fits the bill of sale I got (is satisfactory to what I asked for and what they are telling me I got).

Really happy to see more blue payoff for spells-matter! :) This is the sort of cool 2 drop I can get behind

Nibilis seems like a perfect analogy to Mistfire. Very cool. I do also really like lone rider and how it let's you go ~deep~ to get that nice bonus :). Not sure where I'd slot it in, but I do appreciate ways to value stuff like equipment that isn't double strike.

How do we all feel about unsubstantiate? Is the raw flexibility of this sort of effect good enough over, say, miscalculation? I suppose it depends on the decks you are trying to support... Really like the Nibilis of Frost too. Toned down control effect and wincon at 4 mana, that interacts with...

Do you actually think it's too good? At least for some RTL formats, I think.... It does have the same issues as hero of bladehold, but I guess it's slower to grow damage? I like it too. Coming in tapped is a bit of a downer, but mana ramp that turns into a nice late game body is awesome. Can...

Textbook A/B mechanic, while drafting, while playing, etc. Headache indeed. And I hate random text that is so specific, and may just serve to confuse people. That being said, I think the Hanweir pair are both independently playable Edit: and can we talk about how happy I am they did bring back...

Meeeh. Pretty leery of this mechanic for cube. If individual pieces of the melds are independently good enough, that might be fine, but... For one, not thrilled about even having random trinket/flavor text of (this melds with ~) if ~ isn't even in the cube..... Holding out hope, but only a...

    Card/Deck Low Power Card Spotlight

the only major flaw I see in tribal is that not everyone knows they can use it towards stuff like Delirium. I also enjoy the Spellbomb(s) in that they offer incidental card draw, something that I value very highly. It'd be the reason that I'd consider running Aether Spellbomb too. Speaking...

I'm switching it around to dead weight for now. I think I did some math earlier and it still actually hits like 70% of creatures in my cube, or something like that. On the topic of incidental enchantments that can easily go to the graveyard, how's about: seal of fire or pyrite spellbomb...
