    General Jumpstarting your cube drafts

Lol, Nano. I was looking for snow creatures last night and nearly designed "Draw-Snow" (had the same name idea) when I saw the vipers, but I dislike green "draw a card" rewards on principle, so I didn't do it. Frostwalla is fucking bad. Rancor's trample looks very relevant. I always want Edric...

    General Jumpstarting your cube drafts

Trying to come up with interesting mono colored designs is trickier than I expected. It's not fun to make such bread and butter packs, but it's probably important. I'm gonna go look into the Planeswalker Deck walkers as maybe interesting but pretty nerfed build arounds...

Sets [2XM] Double Masters Spoilers- The Set That Makes Me Cry Tears Of Salt

I think it actually is less expensive after a couple of months (early prices are so speculatively high) because packs are being cracked for crazy chase mythics, mainly walkers, so the expected value of the set is placed on 1-2 cards rather than being dispersed more evenly throughout the rare...

I really like Pyro. Base stats of a bear is decent and it has two very relevant options on it. Maybe Rix Maadi Reveler, Azra Bladeseeker, and Keldon Marauder? They all filter for no mana investment and have fair stats, albeit at sorcery speed. Smash looks awesome from the sideboard if you do the...

Love the Cluestone. Reroute's too narrow. What are we Expediting that's exciting? Still feel like Chemister is pretty weak. Tek, I'm down for letting them get an additional pack in theory, but now you have to carry around "3-wherever" (I assume this means 3x) of each guild pack plus 4-6 of...

I was also going to suggest dropping an Alliance for an Electrolyze. Chemister looks a bit weaker than the rest. I don't really have another suggestion. Either something that's 1 cmc or something that has "draw a card" as an added effect. You could cut the Temple for a UR tri-cycle land...

I'm only going to have mono colored JSs. 25 cards each with 9 lands so that you can cut some cards to get better decks. Plus a minimum of two all-color fixers in each pack, typically Thriving+Vivid. I've got the outline started in Cube Blogs, but it's very early.

Wolfwillow or Leafkin are the only ones that do anything somewhat interesting. They give you a little more decision making in either your play or your draft. I'm a bit worried about the 3 toughness for your aggro decks, considering there's basically no 1-drops in the whole grid, but I didn't...

    General "Looking for a card"-Thread

I think it would make more sense to be happy that you get to use flexible, colorless targets rather than look for ones specifically in green, anyways.

    The BEST Jumpstart Cube

EDIT: This thread has been repurposed on page 2. I'm leaving everything up because it's still potentially useful for someone. BRAIN vs BRAWN on a budget This theme originally came from another color-imbalanced cube idea. Instead of being favored to one color like The Black Cube, this idea...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

Spikeshot's the kind of card where it always sucks for one player.

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

I haven't played with it, but it seems quite good. Bonus points if you have Spikeshot Elder, which I feel like you do?

    General Fight Club

The two rares there are so much better at attacking in red decks that aren't as concerned with the discard.
