I just put deep hours back in my cube. He's always been fringe playable IMO, but as Ux tempo has gotten more attention in recent updates to my cube I think he will be pretty good now. And ninjutsu is just a fun ability so it's win win is my thinking.

This is a pretty sweet idea. I've thought about doing something similar, but it felt unwieldy with real cards so I backed off. Now if someone made card sleeves that had a colored symbol at the bottom of the clear side (the side with the card face), you could probably do this pretty easily...

I agree with this. Dakra Mystic is my sleeper pick for the set. It can act like a baby Jace/Howling Mine. It can act as a discard outlet for graveyard shenanigans. It can be used to hose your opponent by taking away something they really want/need and/or something you don't have an answer...

Nice review. You convinced me to give a couple extra cards a shot (I was on the fence with them and you pushed me over it).

Grave Pact is amazing... in janky casual decks. It would need to cost 3 I think to have any chance in cube. But if someone believes otherwise, I'm all ears. I really like this card.

I pulled one of those in a Ravnica draft. I spent a lot of time trying to make a constructed deck around it. I failed. I still think it can be done though, I just didn't find a way to break it.

It's a fair assessment. And that was one of the last of those cards I pulled out and the only one I've considered putting back in for this reason (even more so now that I have some token abusers).

It's a strong effect, but I can't justify a multi-colored slot to it. With that said, I am running Gelectrode who has a similar theme (though IMO is more flexible and useful outside his specific deck).
