    Card/Deck Cleric Tribal

You have other life gain cards you can consider. Some playable on their own (like these two IMO): Nearheath PilgrimPulse of the Fields

    Card/Deck Multipost

From a mana standpoint, this is a solid idea IMO. I might try this. While we are on the topic, what about the Urza lands? Similar idea, but you'd need all three for it to be worth it. Urza's TowerUrza's MineUrza's Power Plant

    Card/Deck Cleric Tribal

I don't think so. At least not the cleric part. But even with a lifegain theme, the biggest issue with it is that it doesn't win you the game by itself (you can't gain life your opponent to death). So it really should be a supplemental mechanic. My 2 cents.

My issue with Scrying Sheets is that without some top type effect, it whiffs a lot (even in a dedicated snow deck). With just 10 basic lands out of 40 cards, you are only going to get a hit 1 in 4 times. That kind of blows for 2 mana (even if it's something you are just doing with mana you...

LOL. Yeah. I know. 0/3 for WUB. :(

    Card/Deck Cleric Tribal

Human theme Human theme is much more doable. Maybe one day we can make the Cleric theme a reality in cube. For now, I think it needs to live as a super janky casual deck I would probably enjoy trying to build when I get free time.

I don't generally run triple color mana costs, but if we are going all the way with this. Wandering Mage This guy would cost U the turn after you drop Edgewalker. And his B ability would be sweet with undying dudes.

    This is interesting. Edgewalker

    Card/Deck Cleric Tribal

I love tribal themes. And clerics are awesome. One guy in my group would orgasm over the idea of a cleric tribal theme in the cube, so I'll entertain this for awhile. There are a lot more playable clerics than I thought, but the options we have for making clerics matter are pretty bogus...

Sure, why not? :) I remember my friend made a snow deck and he ran this annoying thing in it. Rimescale Dragon The flavor is really cool (though I think this should have been a blue card, not a red one). It would need to cost 6 mana by today's standards (and even then, I'm not sure it...

I was running Mouth for awhile, and might put it back in once I switch to the separate land draft. Removal on a land is solid IMO, and that thing does 4 damage which is a lot. I was just playing Mouth like all basic lands were snow though (sort of errata I guess - you had to tap a basic land...

I wish it came into play untapped but dealt one damage when tapped for mana (ala Barbarian Ring). It would be much better I think. Decks that want the hellbent effect do not want their lands coming into play tapped generally (but those same decks tend to not care that much about pinging...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

Me too. I think people often think he isn't playable in a deck without knights. But that's not really what makes him good. He's a threat that never goes away, and he wants to be part of discard. Masticores like this guy. Smallpox is best buddies. Looters love him. Braids even likes him...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

I love Drana. If you untap with her, you don't usually lose. She just completely dominates the board with enough mana. I also run this guy. Very few lists have him, but he's awesome in so many decks (though admittedly, I am partial to graveyard shenanigans and my cube is a little slower than...

    FlowerSunRain's Cube

Undying Rage cast on your opponents wall is pretty much awesome sauce. I'm half tempted to run that actually simply because it can be used aggressively in two different ways. I have a slot or two at 3CC in red that I could swap without losing sleep. Cool list BTW.

Thanks. I'm going to try all lands at the end. That will also allow me to get my list back down to 360 without having to cut some of the fringe stuff I like playing with. I'm a fan.

    General stock cube biases

Yeah. That makes no sense at all. You'll run Elvish Mystic, Llanowar Elves, and Fyndhorn Elves - all identical cards in everything except name - but suggesting you run 4 gravecrawlers is somehow not acceptable? What? A couple guys were going so far as to say that anyone running multiples...

    General stock cube biases

Rant incoming... There's a 7000 page thread on MTGS where I futilely argued against the grain on the Roshambo thing. I agree that it isn't a fiction of anyone's imagination. It does exist. There are matchup advantages in this game and they do naturally manifest in the classic aggro >...

    Article ChannelFireball: Utility Land Draft

That's a solid idea. You just do utility lands though, right? You still have the more powerful lands (duals, fetches, wasteland, et all) still in the main cube? Do you always draft the whole cube (all utility lands)? Because one thing we often do in my group is draft half the cube (4 players...
