    General Custom Cards: The Lab

Honestly I kinda like both those cards :P Since you're casting it yourself it's all about maximizing the chances it works, rather than when you're casting something on your opponent and randomly getting hosed. Flavor text is slightly over the top...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

Augur of Skulls I just wanted to bring more attention to this card, it's been excellent for me. I've got a custom variant of wrench mind that says "...discards 2 cards or a planeswalker" because nobody ever cared about whatever artifact they had in their hand, whereas a planeswalker you might...

We've had moncolored versions of fiend for years, but 2/1s always seem to make it in. It's got relevant text, but footlight fiend isnt really that great (in retail it's fine. Kinda like a bad dead weight on the blocks that might deal 2 damage to them instead. Dead weight was just so good in the...

    General Custom Cards: The Lab

I think my format wants delve cards but actual delve itself runs counter to the whole "pile up your graveyard" thing I'm encouraging. I'm looking to try this instead: Given that people do occasionally deck themselves in my drafts and that this might encourage you to "delve away" different cards...

The Dandy Cube (Chris Taylor's Cube)

Okay, I thought I'd throw a few hundred words at you about a card I just added, giving you a bit of insight into my design ethos: So, first off: I do think a 1G 3/3 is printable, even in standard. However, I don't think they would because such a card is kinda boring, even if it would be good...

    Sets (RNA) Ravnica Allegiance Spoilers

I'd lean to heckbent. Spectacle kinda means "I'm winning" most of the time, whereas you can actually redeploy dread wanderer when you're behind on board.

Prerelease Thoughts: (Yes! Arena prereleases started today!) Resolute Watchdog This card impressed me! I think it might have a home in cube honestly. Siren Stormtamer has been no slouch, and a 1/3 bricks a surprising ammount of creatures in my cube. Good prowess card, or anywhere where you...

Had my first taste of the new cards, and oh my god: Pteramander This thing is the business! I think this is what I wanted out of delver in cube.

    Sets (RNA) Ravnica Allegiance Spoilers

Since it's until EoT, I'm not sure I'd want this in a pure removal deck. it'd just act like a player only burn spell, unless you hit something with a nonsense ETB trigger

Wasn't it 20? Maybe it's different if you're pasting images directly into the text field somehow.

    Sets (RNA) Ravnica Allegiance Spoilers

We're approaching peak Mark Rosewater in this set, between the oozes and the puns :P I do like this card though. It's quite vulnerable, but it grows horizontally and vertically, and triple green isn't too easy.
