Just beware of what players already know! I expect a Sword of Fire and Ice with "Protection from red and from blue" crossed out registers better than a custom print of the card where the text is completely absent. The crossing out actually alerts people to the fact that the card is errata'd...

Braids, Cabal Minion This card is easier to support when you run a bunch of tokens. Ethereal Absolution Anthem effects do more in a token deck, plus this even makes tokens! Teysa Karlov Explicit token support, though you do need to build in enough support for the other part of her to matter...

Yeah, you won't hear me praising the format. The good games are fun to watch, but so is any good game of Magic (for me anyway). Still funny that a janky common like Slash Panther sees no play whatsoever anywhere... except in the most broken constructed format supported by WotC.

So, this goes in a deck that plays a lot of artifacts that want to go to the graveyard and wants to ramp? I would think that's a pretty narrow cross section of most cubes, so it probably needs a pretty dedicated environment to shine.

Easy Cackler. That 2/2 body for 1 is pretty important for aggro decks I think. I don't think Footlight Fiend adds much to be honest.
