Because the restrictions for Modern Horizons was ‘All cards that aren’t Basic lands’ must be new to Modern. And Horizon Canopy is from Future Sight which is a Modern-legal set.

They literally couldn’t complete the cycle in this set. But now there seems to be a door open for them to complete the cycle in a future set.

What should I do? • Cut Ranger of Eos • Keep Ranger and keep Mother of Runes • Keep Ranger and switch Mother out with the new Giver of Runes • Keep Ranger and keep Mother and include the new Giver.

Looks like a bad custom card design from MTG Salvation’s “Print this card so I can put it into my cube”-section. Except for the art which of course is perfect.

I am pretty sure the user pslu4mne was refering to cube and not Modern constructed. It is clearly more attractive in P1P1 if you do not already feel connected to a certain color pair/trio since you will guarentee play it and it will always help your mana base at almost no cost.

So Modern Horizons will have at least 40 different mechanics. This does not include evergreen such as flying, trample, haste etc

So according to Wizards..both can counter spells :P The other sounded better in my head :P :P :P

I always thought it was the ‘Force’ part that countered and the ‘Will’ part that made it possible to cast the card without paying its mana cost. I guess Wizards disagree.

Force of Negation seems Vintage and Legacy playable.

Oversold Cemetery The requirement is harder but the design feels cleaner if you ask me. It is much more of a 21’st century design compared to the five Oaths.

Just realized that besides cutting ‘Cycling matters’ from my cube I also cut ‘Blinking matters’ from my cube earlier this year.

On Storm It seems like your cube only lacks 1 (maybe 2) win-conditions. Then you should be fine and can leave that part alone.

Given that Cycling is a thing in Modern Horizons.. Do you guys think we get the five enemy-colored ‘Amonkhet’ cycling dual lands that ETB tapped? Or are they waiting for a Standard-legal set to print them in?
