The Limited point goes strongly against the consensus - Ixalan was a massive dud but Amonkhet + Hour is regarded as one of the GOAT formats, as was Shadows + Eldritch Moon (and I'm partial to BFZ + OGW myself). It's worth noting though that all of these were much worse in their single set formats.

I think people are overestimating how easy it is to trigger Ascend in the average game unless your Cube is full of cards that leave random bodies lying around. Kytheon is much better most of the time but is also horribly complicated so that's a better reason to swap it out IMO

I was already doing everything I could to make Splendid Reclamation work and here's one that's much easier to dig for, works with sac outlets, and is a great blocker to have in my clunky ramp deck
