The fewer the number of players in the draft, the more you should hate-draft. In an 8-person draft, you will theoretically be playing against 43% of the cards you didn't draft. In a 4-person draft, that number goes up to 67%. And for 2-player, of course, it would be 100%.

Did you mean Cloudshift? I've been pushing U/X aggro pretty hard. It's tough to get people to bite since they're unaccustomed to it, but it's really not so terrible these days.

In my experience with my cube, a deck that is truly built around Birthing Pod can be very difficult to beat. Once you've got the chain moving and you can access your toolbox, your deck is suddenly able to execute a sequence of value that even in small doses will ultimately be back-breaking...

Agree with Alfonso and FSR, though for sure life has been better since I've cut Wall of Omens and Wall of Blossoms.

I was recently having some issues with drafters picking up as many midrangey value cards as possible to the point that it was borderline oppressive, not to mention very boring. As a result I've started cutting back more heavily on the quantity of ETB creatures in my cube. I wouldn't worry so...

I run 2 pods at 450. I'm hesitant to make it too reliable for a true pod deck to come together frequently (it can be extremely powerful), but a single copy is playable enough on its own and I like what it adds to games.

With that pool I would cut blue entirely and play a slightly more aggressive midrange Jund deck. For instance, I would immediately include Flametongue Kavu, Incinerate, Arc Trail, Zealous Conscripts, and Kalonian Hydra. Your fixing seems more well-suited to Jund, also.

Whirler and Master seem fairly different to me. Master of Waves is more of a smaller, blue Precursor Golem. Given that all the tokens are 2/1's, it's far more aggressive, and much more fragile since the opponent only needs to kill the Master. Whirler seems more well-suited to a mid-speed...
