You’re also playing with late 90’s creatures which have a significantly less impactful board presence than creatures from the mid 2000’s onwards. Mother and Giver both get way more powerful when they have better things to protect.

Man, filling out three separate surveys is really frustrating. I wish they would put all of the new cards on one survey and just separate the sets when analyzing the final data.

Reasonable Doubt has the distinction of being the best card that uses the Suspect mechanic, and I don't believe it's close. Adding an extra keyword to a Cube just to play another B+ Quench variant is not necessarily worthwhile in smaller Cubes. We're really not starved for two-mana Counterspells...

Oh, I really like this design! This seems like a great dual-purpose removal spell/anthem. I wasn't very high on any cases (outside of maybe the skeleton one), but I might give this one a whirl.

The downside is getting to look at that weird photoshop shark lizard mouth :p

Honestly, I'm less worried about the fact that it "doesn't feel like Ravnica" (it feels like Ravnica with some noir wallpaper over it for whatever reason) and more about the fact that most of the cards are pretty mediocre.

To be honest, I think this is significantly worse than Satyr Wayfinder. Being able to "draw" a land immediately frees up the creature to enter combat without needing to worry about dying– full value will already have been attained. Plus, Wayfinder mills an extra card, which is really useful for...
