I agree. It really has a huge tempo cost, so the tempo you gain from bolting a 3 drop should at best casr just even out, worse case its damage control in a losing race right?

I was actually looking at echo after reading the etb thread. Honestly would be fun to try out. Maybe you can run it like a travel preparations? One drop two drop into boa, either trade or pay the echo? This with an environment where 3 toughness is decent.

It lets you chump for a good while. Hunting moa Is still something one would want to run with +1/+1 tribal? A 4/3 that gets +1/+1 benefits seems pretty ok, even if you get a huge tempo hit.

What do you define as efficent? Undercosted bodies and an ability of some sort? Just so we know what we're looking for.

There's also been a ton of neat rarity downshifts to common on some cards. Peregrine drake could be used in a deck similar to the old cloud of fairies combo. edit: Kirblinx really beat me to it!
