I laughed XD No idea what my favorite card was though. Hard to pick between these three. Lively Dirge for the awesome play patterns, Colossal Dreadmask for the playable meme, and Roxanne because she’s a blast to go off with!

I played two 4 player Rochester drafts yesterday with this old beauty, and I may have created one of the most heinous cards in the cube...
Then again, this is exactly what this cube is about! Turning commons and uncommons into broken shit! :D
Hahaha, sorry for my strong wording earlier. Obviously you can do whatever you want, but personally I would make it a 2/1 at most for three mana. That could very well make it the best three drop in the cube though. There’s precedent for these things being 0/2’s (see Vedalken Archmage and...
I think you can get away with it on a gold 3 mv creature. I do think it’s unlikely 3/3 is a good statline for such an effect.
Edit: Oh man, it triggers on etb too? I totally overlooked that the first time. Jeepers this is pushed beyond belief. At the bare minimum, it’s a 3/3 that draws two...
To be honest, this design physically hurts. I get why you’re doing it like this (red rummages, artifact tokens are super commonplace), but the fact that the reward for artifacts and enchantments is different, and that because of that you need to write out an *almost* identical line twice, really...
I’ld be inclined to make this a triggered ability instead. “Whenever a nontoken artifact or creature is put into your graveyard from the battlefield, create a 2/2 black Zombie creature token with decayed.”, and then maybe an activated ability that lets you sac a Zombie for an effect?
I was full on joking. It’s been a while since Venser was (arguably) the best blue 4 drop.
That said, to whomever needs to hear it: It’s still okay to love him!
Yo, don't dis Venser. It's probably the "best" blue four drop! :P
I'ld pick etb creatures with mv <4 maybe? There's many good ones, depending on your power band, ranging from Ajani, Nacatl Pariah and Snapcaster Mage to Blade Splicer and Reflector Mage to Charming Prince and Aether Channeler.
When looking for a specific effect in a color as part of a color combination, I often combine color requirements, e.g. "ci<=bur ci>=u", which finds all blue cards in the Grixis shard (so U, UB, UR, and UBR cards).
So, the difference in power level between the non-Mountain version and the Mountain version is huge, because the second design taps for mana without the exert ability (assuming it should say {T}, Exert ~). I like the non-Mountain version a lot better, because it feels like there’s an actual cost...
Like Mown said, it's a super popular format on Arena. Lots of people create content for Standard online as well. I don't think this is the end for me. It only changes the looks, and I don't really care about the looks. The actual gameplay is still super sweet, so I'll keep enjoying that...
I have no experience with any of these two drops, but Bayou Groff seems an exciting pair with Young Wolf (at least for the caster, it’s probably pain for the other side of the table).
I am playing it in multiple commander decks. It’s really sweet with repeatable token makers like Toggo, Goblin Weaponsmith. Here’s a Scryfall search that might give some inspiration :)
