Me neither, but I added it because I thought it might feel bad for players that casting a legendary creature with this templating means you end up with no tokens. Conversely, being able to make a second copy of a cool legendary creature might be exciting.

You're usually playing ~40% lands in a deck, so on average you're hitting two targets on lands alone. I don't think you needs a lot of (colorless!) artifacts at all, just a few good ones worth getting.
