I think with targeted discard it kind of straddles the line of fun/anti-fun. It's not as blatant as Hymn to Tourach, but I've certainly seen high-level players express their discontent with Thoughtseize in Standard environments. It's not surprising that, if you have metrics other than power...

Balance falls in the category of spells that make me feel bad (apologetic?) when I cast them.

I saw some controversy on Twitter about competitive Magic being moved from paper to Arena. I always thought of this step as inevitable for the viewing experience, but maybe others feel differently. It doesn't really affect me either way. Do we have opinions on this?

I tried hard to make Smallpox work, but even in decks that seemed ideal for it, casting it usually felt suboptimal compared to other options in hand. +1 for Brutality though.

Am I reading this correctly? If it happens on your turn you have to lose 2 life, then gain 2 life?

I don't understand why they stack so much loyalty on 3-mana walkers.

Mixed feelings on sagas returning. The mechanic is super clunky and inelegant, and when I played the previous Sagas set (Origins? Dominaria?) with inexperienced players, they never 'clicked'.

I'm super bad at keeping my deck from bloating. My last run finished with 50 cards. I also feel that Act 1 is the hardest in a run. Usually deaths come to an Act 1 elite, so I have to take these mediocre attack spells to be able to clear Goblin Nob, and then they just water down my deck later on.

Found a new way to beat the Heart.
