General When Is Fixing Too Good?

Yeah, I don't think it's any accident that during Standard and Modern, Tec Edge has been most commonly found in UW control. It's not really going to do the trick here. Aggro is massively underpowered in most lists that run Wasteland + Strip Mine, so I'm not sure adding one more of such an...

General When Is Fixing Too Good?

Honest question, when has an aggro deck ever run Tec Edge?

General When Is Fixing Too Good?

My issue with Tec Edge is that it doesn't keep them off of their 4th mana for a wrath. Would gladly run the Tec Edge equivalent if it said three lands.

    General Polycubing and packages

Yes, I know what you mean, but if we're going to give it a 1 in 7 shot, I'd be more inclined to open up a new slot with 7 manlands in it. I'm looking to clear out a couple slots anyways, just looking for the best way to reallocate them.

    Jason Waddell's Cube

Exactly. Uh, yeah, if somebody wants to donate them, I will gladly run them. :p The functional difference between running 3 allied / 2 enemy cycles and ~2.5/~2.5 is so insignificant. Mostly I'm thinking manlands will make a greater impact at the moment. Been missing the occasional Raging...

That's an interesting idea, but... I'm kind of all in on fetches right now, not really in the market for removing fetchables at random.

I will be (going) deep in my grave before I run Basalt Monolith.

I've had these two together in my cube for a long time and have yet to see the combination pulled off. :|

    Card/Deck Birthing Pod

I actually don't like my first draft. Cards are split up into too many chunks, and you can't easily tell which are the guaranteed cards and which are the poly slots. Here's a new attempt. This time, I first sort the mono-color sections into the guaranteed slots and the poly slots, then generate...

    Card/Deck Birthing Pod

Not to go against the .gif idea, but if we have like 9 cards for 4 slots it's not going to turn out very nicely I think. I also don't have the skills to do it. In the meantime, I have a very rough draft of a visual spoiler for my list. Visual Spoiler! I can add more logic to it, maybe...

Which would you guys like more, a multicolor PW slot or a multicolor manland slot?

General Decks that have 3-0'd your cube

What is the philosophy of that cube? Some of those rares in the winning deck are very.... non-rejecty. :) Looks like a fun list though.

    Inscho's Turn 2 Cube

Slower format with lots of cyclers points me to this card: Probably another vote for some Evolving Wilds if you include it.

    General Fight Club

Yeah, I'm not saying you have to run one or the other, just thought I'd give my opinion on Sidisi, which is a card I'm currently testing. Safra, I mean, I would just run them both until you have the data you want? I'm all about temporary cuts for testing purposes. Note that fetchlands shuffle...

    Inscho's Turn 2 Cube

I like the foundation of your format, it's certainly a unique angle. Personally I wouldn't mind a touch more 1-drops in the format, especially considering that if you run land -> bounceland you're not going to have more than 1 mana until turn 3. As far as power level goes, Meloku seemed the...

    General Fight Club

Independent of Doomsday, Sidisi was reportedly "sweet" in the last draft, and I personally saw it do a lot of work in the one game I birded, and how can you not want to just build the sweetest BUG Zombies deck with Gravecrawlers and Skaab Ruinators and Bloodghasts getting milled and pulled onto...
