Isn't the cost of returning a land pretty damn steep though? I don't think I would ever activate that ability more than once a turn unless I'm going to be able to fully mill them out that turn.

This has been mentioned elsewhere but the effigy sure (intentionally) plays well with casting multiple spells the same turn.

They're totally gold cards, but eehhh we've had gold land cards before that people have ran successfully. They take up space in a different part of a players deck, so they're way easier to splash for, so I don't think they're the same as a creature you want to play on curve. Plus I love playing...

Yeah, paying seven mana to reanimate something is good but not insane, even if it's from a land. Edit: I think the troll land is actually pretty decent, you get a tempo swing in possibly locking out a color from your opponent and adding a pretty big body to the board.

3W Creature - Angel Warrior Instead of paying the mana cost to cast this spell, you may pay 1W and exile a creature card from your graveyard. Flying This seems to pair really well with stitcher's supplier and similar cards for some nice orzhov aggro. I guess bone picker is in a similar vein...

Also very cool with anything that cares about the number of artifacts. Cranial plating anyone?

Now it's my time to nag a little, aren't these new double face cards a little clunky in paper? It feels very much like an "mtg arena"-first kind of design. Having to reveal that you have a DFC in your hand just to flip it to the back and read what it said again during a match seems really akward?

I think it's good. I think it's better if it's available in all colors, since all colors should be able to attempt high spell velocity, not just UR.
