Grid as a whole requires you to pick broader archetypes. In a regular draft, you pick 45 cards one at a time, giving you plenty of precision, but 16 picks of 2-3 cards is unlikely to give you the tools for a deck whose strength comes from synergy over raw power.

It's really Rev into Rev that is the problem. I think it's a great cube card, really the right amount of power, and sequences interestingly.

Most commonly over here, Ranger of Eos has grabbed this combo: Gravecrawler Carrion Feeder Ranger is definitely the most interesting "army in a can" card. I'd imagine tutoring for late-game Hangarback Walker isn't bad, either.
