An alternate idea would be to have them as a squadron pick. You drafted that sick Mountain? Boom, you have four of them to pretty up your deck.

Silly suggestion: let people trade in two sick basics of different colors to get a copy of a better-than-usual dual lands for those colors. Like, maybe your normal RG dual land is a Sheltered Thicket, but you can trade in a cool Forest and a cool Mountain to get a Taiga.

I have to say, I literally shouted "oh come on, more spoilers already?" when I saw this thread.

It might also help if your cards generally have "rough" mana costs. A spell that costs 1UU pushes you way harder towards playing blue than one that costs 2U, especially if that 1UU spell is really strong.

Cephalid Wizard is actually the wrong creature type. Cephalid Looter is a sneaky Cephalid Rogue. Such a sneaky guy, pretending to be a Wizard to lull people into a sense of false security! (I'm not actually planning on cubing Cephalid Looter. I just thought that this was a fun little thing.)

Thinking about it a bit more, I feel like my problem with Unfinity is that it feels very... self-important? The set feels like it's going "Here's a wacky Magic-themed space carnival that's also a death-trap! Isn't that funny? Also, do you get the references? We hope you got the references!"...

I feel like part of the problem I'm having with Unfinity is that I cannot bring myself to care about Attractions or Stickers. Like, my eyes literally slide off of them. So the fact that a large portion of the set is dedicated to those mechanics means that I'm left... unintrigued. And it doesn't...

You look at that card and see a goofy/fun card that's super strong. I look at that card and go "wow, WotC's bribing people to help them advertise".

It wouldn't — if you cast Scythe Doll from your graveyard, you'd draw two cards and lose 2 life when you cast it... and then it'd enter the battlefield from the stack.

I question the lack of Shigeki, Jukai Visionary in this list. It fits in multiple archetypes, after all.

Am I the only person who really dislikes the frame they're using for these cards? I feel like that's my biggest barrier for considering any of these cards.
