This change means that retail drafts are becoming decreasingly singleton. :p

Yeah, I mean I see what you're saying. Part of the key was dropping the power level so that the baseline power requirements were lower. It's also structured much more like a retail draft set than a traditional cube.

General Decks that have 3-0'd your cube

I don't think Lotus Cobra will ever not be my favorite green card. Unless you count hybrids.

General It could happen in any number of formats

I actually think Lucas has some good points here. But what they fail to provide to me are any compelling reasons to run the cards. "It's not that bad" isn't the form of defense I'm looking for.

That is indeed a very low creature count. Do you run Daze? I would want Daze in that deck.

I think generally draft environments want cards with a higher base power level. Relying entirely on synergy is basically a death sentence for a cube card. I'm sure you can find exceptions in the posts below. :p

No, I agree. It's an interesting card that is sure to do some work in limited (and nowhere else).

    If we're being pedantic, it's 4 + 3 + 2. :) Pay for your Overrun in installments.

    Yes, it's the 9-mana disrupt-able overrun I've always wanted!

Eh, charge counters are fine. They have interaction. Not untapping is also a complexity cost and another thing to keep track of in the game.

I don't think I like that argument. Reminds me of a MODO format where you have durdle decks and monored decks.

It is super slow, likely too slow, unless your environment is suuuuper weak.
