I "subject-ified" (is that a word, probably, but it probably doesn't mean what I want it to mean) the verb to gag. I'm envisioning a zombie with a piece of cloth up its throat, refusing to die from asphyxiation, over and over again. Feel free to change the name if you want to use the idea ;)

To elaborate on my post: the problem with colorless bombs is not only that they dominate games, but also that they're essentially a free first pick. No matter what deck you end up with, you can always maindeck them, and they will probably perform well, requiring the least amount of drafting...

Did you ever find the Swords of X and Y to be a problem? I personally hate hate hate them for the double protection they grant. They have a tendency to randomly take games in a very noninteractive way.

Opposing Force {2}{u}{u} Creature - Elemental Graft 4 Creatures you control with a +1/+1 counter on it have "{t}: Tap target artifact, creature, or land." 0/0 Yep, Opposition as a 4/4 sounds fine, right? Right?

One word of warning though, juice it up any way you want, but self-bouncing often leads to repetitive game patterns, which a lot of players find unfun. Just saying. Combining graft and +1/+1 counter lords though. Bliss!

Fortify wasn't half bad when I tried it out in a few test drafts against an admittedly shaky AI. There's plenty of ways to get tokens in this set, so it more often than not represents 4+ damage, which is pretty decent for {2}{w}.

Actually, he put the name there in white. If you select the white space above the constructed rating, you can see if your guess is right :)

Stuff doesn't have to be good to be enjoyable. Case in point, I had a blast watching Sucker Punch!

Or you could do (which would radically change the card, but not the intent, I think, and it would certainly be less convoluted): Whenever another creature enters the battlefield under your control, you may sacrifice AEther Djinn. If you do, search your library for an instant or sorcery card...

Community is the best though, I actually watched multiple episodes of that show (which is pretty rare, I still haven't seen a single episode of Game of Thrones, which looks like something I'ld enjoy).

Yeah, that flavor text would have been perfect without the second line, and without attributing it to a random warrior. Just "If I fight, I might step on a butterfly." with that art would have been perfect.

Yeah, Grakk is my hero. It's the Pacifism I use in my cube, because that flavor text rocks! (And the art is the stone cold nuts as well btw) I actually don't mind the story-telling flavor texts much, I do hate the Gorilla Titan one, way too cheesy. I love puns, but... ewww... that one's sooo...

I have seen Overseer in action exactly one time and it was as glorious as you'ld imagine. The guy still managed to lose one game where he got it our though, so it's certainly fair :)
