I've never played Gush in cube, but it is a favorite card of mine in pauper-delver, so if I thought it would fit into a tempo deck, I'd definitely look to be wheeling it.

I'd take the Wrath, with honorable mentions to Go for the Throat/Mulldrifter (and a very long look at Gush)

In limited, assuming the card does something else I've been counting scry as .4 of a card (i.e. magma jet is somewhere around 1.8 cards in my mind, in Th block limited). Scry gets worse in large numbers though, since at some point you hit a card you want and further scry becomes dead. It's just...

I came across this little gem on the mothership today, and I was wondering if others could think of some good examples of this idea (giving red access to unusual abilities, with a shorter duration). It also struck me that these cards, might be a great way to make red more interesting in cubes.
