I had to read this 5 times to understand what you meant by it (I think). Un as in Un - set Commander - the format Stone - Hearthstone And I agree. It's a thin line between fun pun and boring on the nose jokes.

I really like the idea of these small two card combos. This kind of retail-cube is an inspiring concept (I might try sonething similar with just 4 colors for a two Player cube). I'd be curious how it plays out and how often these interactions actually happen. Just FYI: you can post card images...

I am rocking something similar but this is the true pride of my cube storage:

I run Heaven//Earth instead it is still mostly used for the Red part but you can snipe fliers OR discard it, which is neat.

I gotta say, I was actually pretty close to this with decompose: Insidious Roots (I even made a GB Enchantment)

I run Yaheeni, Undying Partisan and he does things. He's not overly powerful but it’s always nice to have more sacc outlets. I also like Chimeric Idol (in theory) for the nostalgia and "free" activation. Fountain of Ichor is also great as a card that fills two roles. Do the cards need to be black?
