Card/Deck Human 2-drops

Okay, Champions of the Parish, what human 2-drops do you run? Here's what I've noticed in my list:
White - Lots of them
Red - lots of them
Green - none
Black - Bob (and subpar Blood Artist)
Blue - Snapcaster and new Jace (obviously both kind of suck for curving out aggressively)

For you people who run Human Tribal, does the deck always end up WR with a splash? How do you spread the love?

Yeah, black 2 drops aren't good and generally aren't human. I guess you have Cartel Aristocrat, Underworld Coinsmith and Chief of the Edge, which are gold cards, but since you'r curving out from a champion of the parish should work fine. Chief of the Edge is a 3 power, no drawback drop that makes your blood soaked champions hit really hard, I think its definitely worth considering. The other two are a little more niche.

Green has Argothian Enchantress which is approximately Jace-Tier as far as curving out is concerned. Gold cards add Saffi Eriksdotter who you probably don't want to run.

Blue gives you, umm, Sindbad and Jeskai Sage, neither of which are ideal. Meddling Mage and Battlewise Hoplite come out of the gold section. I guess the mage might be techy, the Hoplite is a wheeler in my environment for w/u heroic, obviously 99% of cubes don't want it.

trying out Chief of the Edge asap, wayyy smart idea

echoing that Human tribal here is typically WB colours, sometimes it's red and blue and gets either more aggressive or more reactive but the grindy aristocrats version has been the most resilient here too.

There's also CoCo humans in green, but my coco shell is kinda nonhuman-heavy so it doesn't come together as much. It's sweet to drop two counters on a Champ during combat though

People keep saying Black 2-drops suck and aren't humans.
Which brings me to the question, why don't y'all just run multiples of Dark Confidant? He's a pretty decent card, yeah? And a human!
I mean, it seems to have worked for Gravecrawler, although I signed up too late here for that hullabaloo.

RBM does and apparently it's great. I've definitely thought about it. Has anyone here actually cubed Skinshifter?

I have for a while. It's cut often, because the "upkeep" cost for it to be a real creature is annoying, but all modes are relevant and the versatility makes it amazing in games that you can afford to spend G every turn. 4/4 trampler attacking on turn 3 is good when you are ahead. 2/2 flier is good on a ground stall. 0/8 wall is good when defending. I recommend it for slower cubes.

Yeah I think it's a fun card, but it just might not be up to scratch. Doesn't seem to go in anything particular.

Speaking personally, I am not against multiple Confidants, but it's never felt like an effect I needed multiples of. It's not that black two drops suck necessarily, but more that the ones that don't suck aren't human. I could see the argument for it (interacts with Champions and Brainstorms, high card quality), but I am not quite there yet.

Yeah it was always one of those ones I held back on because of the card quality. Like doubling up on Jace to put more bounce in the enviornment
