General "Looking for a card"-Thread

Graveyard hate that can be maindecked or is generally useful. I would be fine with the card if it didn't flip or if it transformed.

Is there any enchantment or artifact compareable to Demonic Pact, that you wann flicker/bounce or even destroy by yourself at some point?

Keep in mind that flickering Parallax Wave the right way results in a one-sided Wrath of God! But I think flickering enchantments can be interesting. What do you have in mind?

Destroy it to stop the creatures coming back or, flicker it to also wipe the board again. I love this card.

Same vein as Wave, also a fine card by itself.

And all the other Gatewatch Oaths.

I think we might have a winner here. I have to talk with my group, because it's another un-card. But it is absuable pretty similar to Pact and it seems good on it's own in a hard control deck.

Onderzeeboot

Ecstatic Orb
It actually seems less abusable, because its effect is symmetrical and your opponent is the first to get a creature back.

Looking for cards that pay you off for milling yourself. My cube is at what I like to call "Tireless Tracker" power level. Looking for stuff with an effect while it's in the yard, since I wanna encourage from-library milling.

You already run a bunch of payoffs, I'm seeing a lot of delve cards, so I'm guessing you already went over all of those and included the ones you fancied. I guess there's a few more options, but the power level is a bit all over the place...

Of those, I cut Taigam because it was a little too good in my cube.

This is a very difficult question for me to answer. Self-milling and the GY is an almost-intrinsic part of how my cube funcitons, so it's not so much about like rock start "payoffs", it's more like the fabric of how to make self-mill worthwhile. The density of the flashback, dredge, aftermath, delirium, etc. can mean almost as much as having something flashy. Anywho, here's some of my favorites in various contexts:

(A couple have been previously shown, like Sidisi and Genesis)
(Reanimation targets aren't really included below, but that's a whole 'nother angle that is a good self-mill focus)

All of those do stuff from the grave.
But cards like these here are nice payoffs too:

Of the choices that have been presented here as mill payoffs, I would say the most fun are:

I would keep this guy in your list (as you currently do) as well. He is far and away my favorite mill enabler.

Oh right, Living Death and Rise from the Tides! So much fun to build around those!

I recently added this guy and he's pretty sweet too if you bin many spells naturally:

I find it helps to categorize the graveyard payoffs by what they actually do (I realize that most of these have been mentioned!). That way you can get a good idea of what decks you are looking to build and can mix and match the most relevant ones to your themes.

GY spells payoffs (mostly blue)

And anything with Delve, Flashback, Jump Start.

GY lands payoffs (mostly green)

And anything with Retrace.

GY creature payoffs (mostly black and green)

And so many more + all the Reanimation spells and the recursive black 1+2 drops.

GY artifacts payoffs (mostly red and white)

GY enchantments (mostly white I imagine)

I never explored this but there are some in white.

All around payoffs

So each theme seems centered around 1 or 2 colors so plan accordingly!

Edit: don't know how to get the new MH1 cards to pop up.

So many answers! Thanks everyone! Of the ones mentioned, Necroplasm and Mirari Conjecture stand out as things I'm not currently playing, and Sigh's comment about density makes a lot of sense.
