General Showcase 2021

Has anybody yet tried (and succeeded) to make a cube based on that T2 format?
That would be difficult to do because so many of the cards don't have clear analogs for a potential singleton build, are terrible outside of their perspective archetype, or both (looking at you, Ebony Owl Netsuke). There are a couple of decks that look like reasonable ports, such as Zoo and Hand in Hand, but none of the truly unique decks translate well to Cube. It's just not easy to make a deck like Tallowisp work with a single copy of the titular card, or without adding 3+ copies of the key card. There just isn't enough support to make the majority of the decks in that format into good Cube archetypes.

One could apply your article about porting constructed decks to limited here

I think a non-singleton cube recreating a standard environment could be very fun. You could just run as many copies of each card as you think you need. Sure, Ebony Owl Netsuke is a very narrow card, but if you can consistently draft that deck and it's just two slots you've spend for that build-around card, that's fine.

He did have metal parts in his body by the time of the final stages of the brothers war, which seem to be depicted in the artwork shown to us.
