General The Pro Tour Sucks

Apparently torrenting is frowned upon by my ISP so I haven't been able to follow GoT recently. But the first few seasons were great.

I felt that the books translated pretty well into the HBO series; none of the problems of trying to take 1000+ pages of material and jamming into a 2 1/2 hour movie. Since George R.R. Martin isn't much of a technical writer, nothing meaningful was lost in the medium switch.

That being said, I do have a hard time watching full episodes, and I'm not really sure if thats a commentary on the quality of the source material or a problem with the tv series?

i agree with whoever said books 1 and 3 are good, and the Blackwater episode (season 2, episode 9) might just be my favourite episode of any TV show, ever

I did watch some of the shows, but Littlefinger was the only source of entertainment for me. I just felt sorry for everyone else and that got really draining!
I've been getting a lotta mileage out of the quick 10 minute episodes of Steven Universe. It's kinda like Adventure Time, but even better!
(glarb! the auto-embeddy took my playlist and turned it into a single video. playlist link)

One or more of the folks that you called fellas are not, in fact, fellas. :p It's 2015 now, there are girls on the internet.

But that's not what I came here to talk about.

TRIVIA BITS! Come get your lore and trivia!

I'm kinda inclined to agree with dom when it comes to GOT. I'm gonna keep fucking watching it for some reason though...

What are we talking about in this thread?

Chris Taylor, your post makes no sense to me. Who are you addressing?

Bumbeh being female reminded me of this:

Lastly: How does everyone like Riptide Sea Witch?

I promise this isn't a dig at anyone on these boards (I'm not actually sure we have any female members at the moment...) But I wanted a Geist-like tempo creature for Blue/Black, without invoking the player feeling of bullshit. (Which Geist sometimes does provide)
The sadistic part of me wishes it also lost the player 2 life to properly mirror Vampiric Tutor, but that might be too stronk. We'll see how she pans out.
Spoiler: That card did not work out

Thats exactly how burnt out lawyers sound.

Guy is way too focused on winning and losing, and isn't enjoying the cities, game, or people aka actual life. When you're always chasing the future you can never enjoy life, and you get stuck in these downward depression spirals as all of your accomplishments can't feel like accomplishments. Dude needs to learn to let go and seize the moment, thats all life is after all.

See, not only do I own a salt mine, I also provide self-help. What a great forum.
