The great thing about those creatures is that they are like suspend counterspells, and end up adding so much depth to an overwise drab color. My only complaint is that indestructable can't grant evasion, though having an evasive flyer is quite nice. Seems like a natural fit for the UW flyers deck.

I would suggest first looking at quirion ranger or scryb ranger if you are in the market for general creature untap effects.

Both coiling oracle and shardless agent are reminders of how awkward this color combination is.

Aether mutation is amazing if you can support it. Edric and mystic snake are my two favorites otherwise. UG tends to be about using blue spells to force big pumped green dudes in for lethal. That tends to minimize the effects of not having good hard removal. Self mill is good too, but thats...

    Card/Deck Madness Theme

There is probably enough to treat discard for value the same as sacrifice for value though, no? There might be a focused deck there, but difficult to see atm because this is all new territory.

I'm not really thinking the ramifications of this out 100% fully, but the pauper brewer "oh god my mana sucks I'm stuck in the color pie" solution would always be to first look at artifact or otherwise colorless effects. Dismember all is dust ratchet bomb engineered explosives nevinyrral's...

Also, if you're looking for a board control tool in blue that specifically sends an enchantment to the yard for delirium, this might be the droid you are looking for: Legacy's allure It has some significant warts: {U}{U}, and moves at ratchet bomb speed, but that might not be entirely bad if...

I'm curious too, I remember it was part of the enchantment theme back in December. He was skeptical about the entire theme than, but how did it turn out?

I actually like that effect quite a bit better in blue than in red.

Its neither good nor bad, it just depends on what you are trying to promote. We kind of have a mix of issues here, but as far as white removal goes: if you are supporting disruptable aura removal in white (which it sounds like you are since you want it to hit the yard) than its no longer...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

UG can come together in a couple, generally conflicted ways, and those effects are very good at smoothing out those contrasting game plans, rather than exasperating their existing problems. Even though aura effects are generally weaker removal options due to how disruptable they are, the raw...

One thing to keep in mind is that all of those aura based removal spells tend to be unreliable removal due to bounce, and if you have a large section of your white removal revolving around auras, it can warp a white section towards tempo and creature pressure, rather than control. I think this...

The big problem with Narcolepsy, specifically, is that it doesn't remove the blocker that turn, which is an issue for those UG decks, which suffer disproportionately due to a lack of good hard removal in either blue or green. I'm kind of surprised we are considering pacifism: white has a...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

I'm running psy blast right now, and its really nice to have 1 spell like that at 360 to open up deck design (namely for UG decks). U bounce is already so strong, I don't think you want too many hard removal affects though. Narcolepsy and company are a bit janky for most lists. If it has to...

Fwiw, flavorwise, I like the immagery of gothic horror being supplanted by lovecraftian horror, because thats what actually happened in rl. I will admit, the actual execution feels off. What makes lovecraftian horror lovecraftian horror isn't an army, its discovering that you're just an insect...

There are a few cards too that are symmetrical mass discard: you could have hellbent as a way to break symmetry and get into a top deck war. Not sure how well players would take that deck though. Probably poorly.

The problem with those cards in practice is that both ends tend to work against the other. I do like them, but its very easy for other removal or buffs to out compete them. Immolation makes me kind of nostalgic for blood lust The old ball lightning, blood lust combo.
