I feel like that ability is half of a spell effect, where the other half is 'that player loses 2 life', or it costing {B/P}{B} or being a {B/P}{B/P}{B} edict plus that or something dumb, rather than being a flashback spell.

Over the weekend I also went to an x-wing tournament (2-2, 5-way tied for 4th, 7th on tie-breaks), and am about to pre-order a bunch of tiny spaceships. While there I bought another netrunner data pack. FFG must have bought a job lot of that addictive ink wizards uses.

Should I ++ some more to make it not true again? I get confused by posting etiquette, other than that it's probably bad form for me to keep telling you all how dumb you are not playing netrunner.

I mean, dredge is fundamentally a problem mechanics because the bigger the 'cost', this bigger the resource generation in the kind of deck that wants to dredge. Its not quite all upside, but once it gets big enough, getting the dredge is more useful than the effect of the card! Massive dredge...

I guess the thing that bugs me is not so much that it can be a giant blowout, but that it can be an instant speed giant blowout mid combat. I'm more fine with sleep and overrun because your opponent knows what they're getting themselves into dealing with the big attack (even if that's losing...

Ah, fair point on only tapping down blockers. It does mean you hold it if you don't need it, whereas you have to choose to use it or not. I mean, go for it if it works with what you need, but it makes me nervous.

You can't use sleep as a combat trick though. Or as a combat trick counterspell, or whatever. Plus blue has trouble leveraging sleep, it needs a second colour to provide the creatures for it's double alpha strike, which is awkward when it has UU in its cost (unless you're phantasmal bear-ing...

And don't put money on free parking you dumb motherfucker. That's the easiest way to drag the game out to shit due to random chance and randomly determine a winner 4 hours in, rather than it being over in half that time.

So when you land on a square you get the opportunity to buy it. If you can't or if you decline, the property is immediately auctioned by the bank to the highest bidder. This might mean it sells for more or less than its listed price.

Also, monopoly isn't as bad as most people play it, because most people ignore the auction rule that makes the game actually function as a game rather than being candyland with money. I have never played candyland, because that shit doesn't fly in the UK because it's too bad.
