    Card/Deck Low Power Card Spotlight

Ah, forgot about that one, but I knew it existed. I don't know, looks a bit more random with a face-down pile. Especially in Cube, where decks usually are singleton. Will have to try them both, thank you. Can you tell something about Epiphany, too?

    Card/Deck Low Power Card Spotlight

Fact or Fiction is one of my absolute favourite cards, but it's fairly strong, especially in a cube that has a lot of graveyard action going on (like mine). I don't want to miss the exciting mini game FoF offers, so I'm searching for alternatives. What do people think of: Epiphany at the...

    General Let's talk fatties

I don't know if I fall under 'are we all collectively forgetting reanimation?', but that's why I chose Eternal Dragon as an example: it's a fatty that possibly fulfills so many roles. To me, this doesn't look like a bad way to choose the fatties you include in your cube. Same is true for...

    Sets (M20) Testing/Includes Thread

EDIT: teh lulz, forgot about them still being spoilers and therefore not in the database. Might edit it tomorrow, good night. Will absolutely try Brineborn CutthroatWoodland Champion More growing creatures in supported colours? Count me in! Spectral SailorElvish ReclaimerKnight of the...

    General Let's talk fatties

If you design your cube with some of the best Limited/Draft formats in mind, you will already add some mana sinks to it (like Polukranos). If you can gather enough of those, you actually do have reasons to play ramp. :) The creatures that are big and expensive, like Eternal Dragon, should fit...

So you don't like targeted discard? While I can see that people find Thoughtseize and Inquisition of Kozilek to be too strong, I like my Duress and Thought Erasure. Blackmail and Lay Bare the Heart are also cool cards. Gerrard's Verdict and Augur of Skulls are strong discard two's without...

I like Pelakka Wurm, too. Massacre Girl looks hard to evaluate but also interesting. Love Eternal Dragon and Crater Hellion.

wtf @ same card? Sin Collector is targeted discard which is WAY better, and I don't think that the Grotesque works with blinking as the card doesn't remember what was spend to cast it when it re-enters the battlefield. As a HUGE fan of discard and counterspells, I have to tell you that it is...

    General Fight Club

Thank you very much, I think I'll go with the Winnower and the Rebel for the time being. I don't like the new hydra. As much as I'd like to have this effect in mono green, I think it will be Ravager Wurm - or maybe a card that I overlooked somehow: Gruul Ragebeast.

    General Fight Club

Guys, I want some removal on a stick but I don't want it to be as strong as Nekrataal or Flametongue Kavu (although I appreciate their original artworks). I also don't want to include stupidly strong cards like Overseer of the Damned or Noxious Gearhulk. For reference, Dream Eater shouldn't be...

Nope, there's just Aid the Fallen for planeswalkers, Grim Discovery for lands, Reviving Melody for enchantments, and Fortuitous Find and Remember the Fallen for artifacts. EDIT: Nature's Spiral, Regenesis and Verdant Confluence might be interesting to you.

What do you do to play a game of Magic? Right, you tap and untap cards. This is some aspect I'd like to go deeper on as I think it's weak in constructed but sometimes powerful in limited, and riptidian cubes tend to be in the middle of both. I'll throw in some cards that peaked my interest and...

    General Fight Club

What about ReprocessTorgaar, Famine Incarnate Reprocess gets better if your cube cares about sacrifing lands or artifacts as well as creatures. Torgaar might be another big body for Reanimator.

    Card/Deck Low Power Card Spotlight

Thank you very much, I'll test it. :) It's certainly an interesting card. Isn't Monastery Mentor a bit strong in comparison to the other listed white creatures? I'd rather go with Young Pyromancer (which I already do) or Talrand, Sky Summoner (which I don't at the moment) because they don't...

    General Fight Club

I like Sidisi, wish it would have a worse body. A tutoring 4/6 deathtoucher for 5 is pretty damn strong. Bontu looks like the PERFECT aristocrats payoff but also has a veeeryyy big body, and keeping coming back is what makes it too strong for my cube, too. I have to agree with psly4mne...

    Card/Deck Low Power Card Spotlight

Revisiting flashback (hehe) does anybody of you have experience with those aftermath cards? Cut // Ribbons looks pretty solid, early removal and a finisher for control in one card. will test it. Farm // Market again, pretty solid looking card. Removal and Looting, worth a try. Dusk // Dawn...

Man, those are some pretty cool white cards, and they aren't high power. :) That Myojin makes me look through the whole Kamigawa block again, as this one is just beautiful design. Devouring Light and Dawn of Hope get me excited, too. If Second Thoughts (funny card!) would cost 1 less I would...

    Sets [M20] Core Set 2020

I like Elvish Reclaimer better than KotR. White is not one of my primary colours for lands.dec so I'll happily swap the Knight out for the Elf. Bloodthirsty Aerialist makes BW lifelink more interesting/viable, in fact I find +0/+1, flying and even being black better for this kind of ability...

    Card/Deck +1/+1 Counters

Didn't upadte the cube for a long time, it's in the middle of an overhaul. Still, I'm just implementing +1/+1 counters as a thing into my cube. I think it really depends. Evo Sage looks strong because it will naturally go into a GW counters deck, and hitting land drops is never hard for green...
