    General Fun/Good/Interesting cards with flashback

Necroing again, sorry guys. :D but I have to ask: What about 'flashback' creatures? Ghoulcaller's Accomplice, Dauntless Cathar, Nearheath Chaplain and Mother Bear all play similarly to Call of the Herd, Lingering Souls, Battle Screech and Chatter of the Squirrel although you can't use them...

    Card/Deck Low Power Card Spotlight

For now I think I'll test out Oketra's as well as Hazoret's Monument, especially the latter one gets me somewhat excited and I'm eager to test it out. :)

    Card/Deck Low Power Card Spotlight

I have to admit that I personally like Firestorm more than Sickening Dreams. Discarding X cards sometimes means a big disadvantage. What do you people feel about the AKH monuments? Oketra's MonumentKefnet's MonumentBontu's MonumentRhonas's MonumentHazoret's Monument I think a lot of you...

Kagemaro, First to SufferFirestormCrater Hellion Other sweepers which need some setup. I like Kagemaro and the Hellion together with creature recursion. Kagemaro might be a bit too unreliable while it is cool that Hellion is your t6 and t7 play in one card. Firestorm is good for enabling...

    Card/Deck +1/+1 Counters

Yeah, Skyship Plunderer looks not nearly as busted and it might be Merfolk Skydiver rather than Flux Channeler and Evolution Sage? I'm sad that green's interesting three drops always seem to be too strong for cube. :(

    Card/Deck +1/+1 Counters

I REALLY want to implement +1/+1 counters into my cube as there already exist some cards that support the theme while 2019 had a lot of cool stuff going on for them counters. To me, this looks clearly like a GWU-theme bleeding into R. How did you execute this theme without having too many...

    General "Looking for a card"-Thread

I like what Onder is contributing to these boards recently, very thoughtful and often times presenting views from a different angle. Astral Drift Btw I like Cataclysm A LOT more than the Gearhulk which often is a one-sided wrath bringing a 4/5 body to the table which actually means...

Caller of the Pride is pretty damn strong. Double strike plus evasion is no joke.

You, sir, sold it to me. I always prefer cards in the old frame (97 style) but wtf I have a lot of untapping lands effects in my green section as my primary ramp. What the actual.

    General Fight Club

Augur sucks in most cubes. I like the new Faerie of Modern Horizons that scries 2 while being a 1/1 flier for U more than the speaker but it depends on what creatures are in your cube at cc1/2/3 for the speaker to block. Call of the Herd is such a beautiful card design. nuff said

    General Modern Horizons

This set actually looks like it was designed for cube. After WAR amking me think about cube completely different (planeswalkers as more interactive enchantments) this set adresses A LOT of problems certain archetypes always had in cube. For example, the Soulherder is a non-toxic way of having a...

General Rivals of Ixalan (RIX) Spoilers

Ascend looks especially cool in Gx ramp decks that put a lot of lands onto the battlefield. Having an effect earlier in the game and then later, after reaching your goal, looks waaaayyyy cooler than just ramping until 7+ is reached so you can slam big beef onto the table.

Updated list, though still untested in the actual iteration (Demonic Rising, for example). What about Eliminate the Competition

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

Grillo's absolutely right in that I pushed aggressive decks very hard. My 'playgroup' (which really isn't one, but there are players I usually come up to play with) is full of guys that want to draft multicoloured, blue-centric control decks. It's always tough to balance blue, as everybody on...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

Those creatures are strong, but Not too hard to handle as all of them are low toughness. I'd rather have to oppose a sower than an enchantment stealing my best creature. Unhandled it's still swingy, I have to admit that. I already thought about replacing the Hero with Ogre Battledriver , but I...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

Oh yes, I remember, that was the argument for Tragic Arrogance and against the Gearhulk. Truest story. I had Rout in my cube for a long time, cc5 wrath seemed to be about perfect to give aggro decks enough room, but I wanted to play weaker sweepers in other colours (Kagemaro, First to Suffer...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

I don't like wraths that put big or a lot of bodies on the board. For a while, I had Kirtar's Wrath in. It was still strong enough as a wrath but boring. Tragic Arrogance is cool, I made the switch to Cataclysm a while ago but still have to test it. The Gearhulk looks great on paper but some...
