In my case from a WB(R) recursive weenies deck, where it's not as applicable because the creatures come back. Bloodghast is not going to be a permanent sac, same with Bloodsoaked Champion, adorned pouncer, or the token from usher of the fallen etc. etc. Like if you include Goblin Bombardment...

    General Custom Cards: The Lab

Yeh Embercleave can be a surprise OHKO, but infrequently enough that I haven't categorized it as GRBS yet personally. Maul is powerful and I've found the re-equip to be fine. It turns the creature into a battlecruiser basically instantly, so it's usually worth it.

Repeatable +2/+2 at instant speed is pretty strong, and repeatable scry is pretty strong. That offers enough boost that you probably only need to sac one-two times per turn at most (one sac is a 2 mana 4/4 scry 1 gain 1). The sac-trigger ability also doesn't need that card to do the sacrificing...

That would be too strong I think. Being able to reanimate after an opponent wraths on their turn is strong, and potentially being able to pay {B}{B}{G}{G} to double reanimate is really strong. You recycle up to two ETBs, and start your turn with no summoning sickness. I think sorcery is fitting.

Don't want to sound blasphemous here, but this might just take the place of unburial rites in some formats . The {W} in unburial rites is always slightly to majorly awkward, and it would cleanly open up a slot for can't stay away For instance, my WB is recursive weenie aggro... which...

Unfortunate they didn't use the same background angle (Faithless looting/Faithless Salvaging have the same vantage point from inside the ruined church). I still like the theory.

If you have pictures of the cards generated on something like MSE, you can just copy paste them in, otherwise yeah you basically have to write out the card.

General Games End. Memories Are Forever.

stormbreath dragon I havbe fond memories of my college roommate playing a {R}{B} deck in Theros standard, and holding off death for several turns with a defensively deployed stormbreath dragon (or possibly more than one, I can't recall), buying him enough time to draw into rakdos's return. A...

I think the flavor on Croaking is just another usage of the common idiom "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" and not a callback to YP. I personally really like the parallels drawn between cards. Mending is a tasteful inversion of the original concept, the original flavor decried the...

Note with Seize the storm that the token comes in with the ability granting it power and toughness based on instants, sorcercies, and flashbacks. Its not a static size based on when you cast it, so it can grow bigger over time (and counts the Seize itself!). Pretty good card, and in red, so not...
